[Aria; Time: Day]
Aria was awoken by a knock on the inn door, she was going to get up to answer it, but she is in a lazy mood so sat up and threw her pillow at her father saying, "GET UP AND GET THE DOOR!" Aria shouted to her father whom is just as lazy as her. Daichi grunted and sat up slowly and went to the door and yawned before sliding the door open. The messenger handed him a small letter, Daichi thanked the young man before closing the door and opening the letter.
When he opened the letter he realized the letter was to his daughter, so he walked over to her and handed her the small piece of parchment paper. Aria looked at the paper questionably, then back at her dad, then back at the paper before reading it. The letter stated:
"Dearest Aria,
Would you accompany a few friends along with myself to a picnic tomorrow? If it's not too much to ask. Also say hello to Daichi for me!
Sincerely, Sango
P.s. Meet at Kaede's hut."
"So... Father? Can I go?" Aria asked her father in a hopeful tone as she handed him the letter to read over himself. He stared at the letter for a long while before finally stating, "You may go, oNLY BECAUSE, Sango will be there. I trust her." Aria's father said with sternness laced in his voice.
Aria stood up and hugged her father tightly even though the bite wound from the demon was still pretty deep she wouldn't show her pain in front of her father to test her chances at going on the picnic. "We should head home so I can pack for the small trip to Kaede's hut," Aria exclaimed excitedly. Daichi sighed as he picked up his swords, sheathed them, and stuffed them into a large bag. Aria had put her gauntlets on because it felt wrong not wearing them, she felt naked without them.
"Okay, Father, I'm ready! Are you?" Aria stated while putting her sheathed sword on her back. Daichi looked at Aria and chuckled at his daughter's excitement as he looked at her saying "Yeah, yeah, I'm ready."
Aria had to pretend her bite mark hurt as she was walking out of the small village because she couldn't show that it would be perfectly healed in three days time. So Aria limps out of the village walking down the dirt path until the village is completely out of sight, Aria begun to walk more normally, but it was still a slight limp because she was still in pain.
*Les Temps Sauter*
Aria and her father soon arrived home back to their small hut where Aria immediately started packing for her trip to see Sango the next day. She packed a change of clothes and bandages for her bite wound. After packing she went out the back of her house and limped a short ways to the hotspring to rinse everything off in the refreshing, crystal clear, steaming hot, water.
Once Aria had finished her packing, washing, rewrapping her wound, and eating with her father she soon fell asleep on her own hay bed once again.
Aria awoke early the next morning ready to head out to go with Sango and her group. She quickly ate breakfast with her father and was about to open the door when her father stopped her and said, "Please be safe out there. It's very dangerous." He pulled her into a tight embrace before he let her go and cupped her face in his hands.
"I will be safe. I'll be with Sango and her friends, and I'll make sure no one finds out my little secret, okay? Okay." Aria closed the door behind her and started down the dirt path in the direction of Kaede's hut.
