[16 years later(Luna)]

"LUNAAA!!! Can you come downstairs for a moment please!?!" Leola yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"ONE SECOND!!" Luna shouted from her bedroom before putting down her pencil and standing from her seat at the desk. Luna bolted down the stairs before jumping down and missing the last three steps.

"Watch what you're doing, the last thing I need is for you to break a leg." Leola said with a certain sternness in her voice.

"OK, OK, sorry I'll be more careful from now on." Luna said with her hands up in defeat sarcastically. Her mother looked at her and roller her eyes.

"Whatever, I need you to do a favor for me though." Leola said while picking up a box up on a shelf to the left of her.

"What's in it for me...?" Luna said while squinting at her mother closely.

"I'll get you peanut butter and chocolate ice cream while I'm out." Leola stated knowingly.

"Deal!!" Luna jumped up and down childishly while picking up the box. "So, what is it that i need to do exactly?"

"I need you to take the box down the block to the higurashi shrine. There is a girl over there around your age that has illnesses and I want to wish her better health." Leola stated while patting the box then turning Luna and pushing her out the door. "Be safe and back before dark please." With that Leola closed the door and watched as Luna turned and started walking to Higurashi shrine.

[Les Temps Sauter(Time Skip)]

Luna reached the bottom of the Higurashi shrine staircase and looked up  them, without hesitation she started up the stairs.

After getting to the top she looked around and couldn't figure out which door to go to.

"Umm... excuse me, can I help you?" A soft voice said from behind Luna and she whipped around almost falling backwards before she felt a hand grab her upper arms.

"Sorry, you scared me." Luna said softly while looking up and seeing a girl with long, black hair and in a green and white school uniform.

"It's alright, I'm sorry that I startled you, but is there anything I can do for you?" The girl looked at Luna with a suspicious look. Luna looked at the girl and started to blush madly, the girl was too close to Luna's face.

"Sor...sorry... I'm Just uhh looking for the Higurashi shrine... " Luna said shyly looking down at her feet with a light blush across her face.

"Ohh, you must be Luna, I'm kagome. Your mother called and said that you would be stopping by to give us something." Kagome backed up a little and held her hand out for Luna to shake with a small smile across her feature.

"Oh, yes, I'm Luna... Sooo you're the one with all the illnesses?" Luna asked with a worried expression on her face. Slowly taking Kagome's hand and shaking it.

"No, that's nonsense. My grandpa likes to say those things so he can get stuff out of it. I'm as healthy as they come." Kagome stated with a smile while tugging Luna behind her to the house.

They approached the house and out ran a little boy, who seemed to be around the age of eleven, and a woman who looked like Kagome.

"Sota! Come back here and take your bath!" The woman yelled at the little boy. She then looked over at us and then saw the box in my hand.

"Oh my, you must be Luna. Please do come in, that box must be heavy." She took me inside and sat me down at table. I sat the box down at the table and opened it up.

We pulled everything out and the sun was starting to set. Luna got up out of the chair and looked up at Kagome and her mother. "I must be going it's getting pretty late." Luna signed and started to grab her jacket.

"Oh, that won't be necessary. I called your mother and got her permission for you to stay the night... if you would like?" Ms. Higurashi said while standing up with a faint smile on her lips.

"Um... yeah, that would be nice, but I don't have any of my clothes with me." I stated matter of factly.

"Oh, that's alright, you can just wear some of mine. You're only a year older than me so everything should fit." Kagome cut in with a clatter of the table.

"Ok then, I'll stay the night." I smiled and sat back down to talk to the family.

It grew late into the night and Kagome yawned loudly followed by Sota, then Gramps, then myself.

"Oh my, looks like it's time for bed." Ms. Higurashi stated with a light giggle. Luna and Kagome marched up the stairs and gave Luna an oversized black sweater with zebra striped pajama shorts.

Luna through on the clothes handed to her and laid on the futon set up for her on the floor. Luna and Kagome soon drifted off into a deep slumber.

Late into the night Luna was awoken by a loud bang downstairs. Kagome had not woken up from it. Luna heard a slight clatter and finally decided to get up and go down there. She had gotten to the last step to see a bright light flashed in her face.

"Sorry... Our cat got out." Luna adjusted her eyes and saw it was Sota apologetically holding one hand up to his face.

"It's fine, I can go get him since it's dangerous for little kids to be out at this hour." Luna looked over to the clock that read 2:00(A.M.) while patting Sota's head.

"Are you sure it's ok, I mean he is my cat." Sota looked up at Luna while swatting her hand off his head.

"Yeah, It's fine. I'll be back in a jiffy." Luna smiled at Sota before walking out in the dark.

Luna searched in the dark, with nothing but a flash light, for the lost cat. "Here kitty kitty kitty." Luna said in a hush voice. *clatter* *crash* Luna whipped around to see the cat drop a pot onto the ground. "There you are. Come on let's go back inside." The cat jumped down from the ledge and ran into another shrine.

Luna opened the door with a rattle and cautiously entered. She looked around and saw nothing but a well in the center of the room. Hearing a soft meow Luna approached the well while walking down creaking steps. She slowly leaned over the edge and shined the light down before hearing a loud creak from behind her.

She whipped around before tripping over her own feet and the last thing she saw was the fat cat before falling down into the well.
