chapter 4:She's a Demon

VJ's Pov

"such a shame Brielle. dn't you remember me?" sabi ko while looking at him. woth nothing but a cold emotionless eyes. i don't actually care if he doesn't remember me. wanna know why it's here? the pictures? because he said when we were kids that every picture of us needs to be printed and posted on the wall of my house and his. luckily i didn't forget about that.

"I-ikaw? y-yung ka-kababata ko?" tanong nya habang nag sta-stammer. tss. is he an idiot or what? so since he is, i just nodded. just right then, one of my gangster chamber maids came upon us. she's probably in her late 20's?

"young mistress VJ?" sabi nya. they all call me here young mistress. and i gotta say it is disgusting. i just looked at her. as if saying she should continue. " we already prepared the training room. their bedrooms and everything you need. are you going to practice swimming again? or beating of records?" she told me. oh yeah. i gotta wanna have to beat the record. the record of the fastest swimmer in our demon family. which is 5 minutes flat. made by my grandfather. VERNON JOSEPH ALMIRANTE. the demon of all demons in the family. but now that he is dead, whoever wins over his score in the swimming will be the next heir of the ALMIRANTE AND CHA empire state. and i've always wanted to have it for myself.

"maybe one round of practice, then i'll beat the record." i said. then again i glanced at the boys, and looked back at her. "bring them to their room Josephina. and i'll be down in the pool in a bit to start off" sabi ko at nag diretdo ng lakad sa kwarto ko. i need to change now! it's only like 4:00? well that's good. hindi masyadong malamig, hindi masyadong mainit ang tubig ngayon.

Jeremy's Pov

"wait! anong training room? anong practice at anong record?" takang tanong ko. lahat sila tumingin din sa maid na nakatingin din samin. she's eyeing us, which is creepy. agad sya naglakad patungo sakin. akala ko kung anong gagawin nya, yun pala sinarado nya yung room na binuksan ko. a room full of mine and Vj's Photo when we were still young.

"training room, duon kayo magtratraininf malamang, with young mistress VJ. yung practice at record? malalaman nyo rin yun in just a while. dalian nyo na. pupunta tayo sa kwarto nyo, ng makita nyo ang training at beating of record ni young mistress VJ"  nagmamadaling sabi ng maid at tinungo na nga namin ang kwarto namin lahat. at isa lang ang masasabi ko. WOW! ang ganda ng kwarto namin. sabi din ng maid na magkikita kami lahat sa pool area. kaya agad ako pumunta dun ng maayos ko na ang gamit ko. tinignan ko rin ang cR at lengya! ang ganda!  MAY jacuzzi, at sauna pa! buhay mayaman nga naman.

nakita kong kumpleto na kami, well, except kay Vj. oh yeah! i used to call her Bitch when we were young. and she calls me Brielle. yun ang tawagan namin noon. and i am bringing it back now xD ang cute kaya ng name nya. BITCHELLA, for short BITCH!

"activate water daggers, swords and nun chucks!" sabi ng maid sa may control. kitang kita na may lumabas na daggers swords at nunchuck sa tubig at pasugod ito kay bitch! napatayo agad kami. pero pumunta sa harap namin yung maid na may hawak ng timer. grabe! papatayin ba nila si bitch?!

"hayaan nyo sya! that's only the beginning at mas marami pa ang mangyayare sa tunay na breaking of records! manuod lang kayo!" sabi ng maid. agad kami tumingin sa pool kung nasaan si Bitch

0,0!! nalampasan nya yun?! ng walang galos? sirena ba sya? ambilis nya lumangoy! considering this is one of the deadliest of all water swimming competition!

FAST FORWARD

Vj's Pov

kaaahon ko lang after trying to beat the score lahat kami lumapit sa babaeng maid ko na may hawak kung ilang minuto ang tinagal ko sa course ng swimming na yun. if my grandfather is 5 minutes and that means he is a demon. if i does lower than him, it makes me the next demon in line after him.

"so melanie? what?' i nervously asked. she looked at the timer shocked! argh! we still kept looking at her like waiting for her to answer. but it looks like she was about to faint.

"give me that!" kinuha ko sa kanya ang timer. i glared at her. now everyone is looking at me. ok. breath in! breath out! you know you did it VJ! your the best! i took a peek and.

"WHAT THE HELL?! ONLY 3  MINUTES AND 48 seconds?! " sigaw ni connor. yes! that's the estimated time that i consumed doing the challenge. and i can't help but to grin!
