His Enigma (Revising)

Chapter 7

*Gelo's POV*

I am currently lying down in my bed. I'm still annoyed because of my father's words. Why in the world would he say something stupid? I thought he's smart. I mean he owns a lot of business, estates and money. He's supposed to be smart. That old man! He's so annoying.

I was like 'what the f*ck?'. What is so great about Jarose destroying my car? I mean I can buy a new car but why would he say such thing? That car is still one of my precious collections but she just destroyed it. That bitch, she's gonna pay bigtime!

I might as well sleep before I get too tired thinking about that. I don't have to worry about my car. I have more. That's the privilege of being rich and a gangster.

 I was walking in the school's corridor when a girl approached me. She's wearing the school's elementary uniform but I just can't seem to see her face. Her long black hair is covering her face but her left eye. By the looks of it, she has brown eyes and eyebags.

"Micky!" she called. I froze into place. What did she just say? Did I hear her right? Or was I just imagining things.

 "Micky!" this time her voice sounded louder. She's close! I can feel it. When I was about to grab her, she was gone. Gone like the wind. I looked around. I turned my head sideways, upwards and downwards but she's nowhere to be found. Where is she?

"Where are you?'" I tried to call out but no voice seem to escape my mouth. I can't hear myself. I can't hear anything. My body suddenly ached. It's as if my body is being burned. My hands and legs were frozen. I can't breathe. I tried breathing but it seems as if the air in the room is all drained out. The pain is so unbearable. It hurt like bitch. Everything was turning black. I tried shaking my head but nothing's happening. What's happening to me? Then another scene came into me.

 "Micky, I'm scared" she breathed crying. I hear her sobbing. I can feel her pain but why? Why would I feel pain?

 "Everything's going to be alright" I cooed trying to comfort her. Telling her false words, knowing it's not okay. I don't understand the situation but I have to do my best to comfort her. I know I'm lying but I don't like seeing her in pain.

 "Re-" she was cut off by a blast. A loud blast! I think its a bomb. Then there were gun strikes. I hear the sound of bullets flying in the air.

Then a masked guy suddenly took her. She trashed and screamed but she couldn't free herself. I didn't do anything because I was terrified. I started crying. I'm crying because I'm a coward. I couldn't save the poor girl's life. Her screamed were tormenting me. I cried louder. Why must she experience that?

 bang

 The guy who took her shot her. I stared at them with wide eyes. More tears ran down my face. She's dead. Blood was pooling around her.

"That's what you get Angela" the guy muttered. He looked at me. I stared at him furiously.

"What are you gonna do boy?" I didn't say anything. I was enraged but I know I can't do anything. I stared at him. He walked near me and hit me with something hard. It hurted like bitch. Everything turned black and I was left there unconscious.

 I woke up panting. It's still the same nightmare. Who is that girl? What is she to me? Is she someone I should remember. I feel like I know her. I can still hear her voice. I sense fear from it. It's scary! But she died. She died because I couldn't do anthing for her.

I was coward and because of that someone died. I may not know her but I feel sad. I feel stupid and useless. My dog suddenly came rushing in.

'"woof''  he barked, wagging his tail. I smile and took him by my arms. 

"Morning Wacky"

"woof" I smiled and placed him on my bed. Getting up I yawned and remembered the dream.
