Carry's POV
Jarose immediately agreed when we all screamed Girl's Night Out. She may not have screamed along with us but we know she agrees. She's always been pretty silent but we still love her. We know what she's been through. We fought it together and our bond grew stronger because of it.
"What pizzas do you want to eat?" Ariella asked while she held the phone in her hands. She's so quick when we talk about foods.
"Get the meat lovers pizza!" Alynna immediately screamed. We all nodded approvingly. I mean we all love meat and we all love pizza.
"Cheese Pizza! Cheese Pizza! Cheese Pizza" Alynna cheered.
"Also get a Pepperoni Pizza!" I want some Pepperoni Pizza. More pizzas, more love.
"Is that all that you want to buy? Jarose? Come on tell me before I start ordering." She's probably really hungry already.
"Well you already bought so many pizzas. Order some pasta. You decide which pasta you want." Jarose said flipping through the channels.
"Okay!" Ariella sang as she dialed the pizza.
Looking at them, everyone seems to have changed since that event. That event changed us. It made us grow stronger and more courageous. People change and I think we do it for the better. We improve ourselves so we can adapt to the changes that we encounter.
Alynna suggested that we should play games until the pizza arrives. So she decided to play spin the bottle. Ariella spun the bottle and we looked closely on it. The bottle stopped spinning and pointed at me. A gasp left my lips and I looked at their grinning faces.
"So Carry, truth or dare?" Ariella asked as she pointedly looked at me. I smirked at her.
"Dare." As long as Jarose isn't the one to pass the sentence then I'm okay with the dare.
"I dare you to not eat a pizza until we are on our second box." What?! Is she serious? But pizza...
They laughed at me because my jaw was hanging open and my eyes were big as saucers. How can she do this to me? They know pizza is my bae.
"Ariella!" I gasped. I placed a hand in my heart meaning that I got offended.
"Uh-ah-ah. Carry, it's a dare." I looked at Jarose pleadingly then she just shrugged at me. Why you?! I thought she was my friend. She smiled at me. Wait... she smiled at me? That's something new.
"Jarose, do you find this funny?" Pouting at her so that she will be conscienced to free me from that dare.
"A dare is a dare, sweetheart." She hummed and took our her phone. Is she serious right now?
" Well, then let's move to another person. Carry spin the bottle." Ariella looked at me with glee. This only means that my dare is final. I snatched the bottle from her hand murmuring incoherent words then spun the bottle. It spun fast. Everyone observed to whom the bottle would point to. Then it stopped, it pointed towards Ariella's direction. Oh this is good!
"Ariella, truth or dare?"
"D-dare" stuttering, aye? I bet she knows what's coming her way.
"I dare you not to eat any pizza until we are on our third box of pizza." Hey! I just told you pizza is my bae.
We continued our game until our pizza arrived. Only Alynna and Jarose are allowed to eat the first box. Alynna opened the first box of pizza - meat lovers. The aroma was so good. I saw Ariella savor the smell of the pizza.
They started eating as we both kept staring at them. Jarose looked at us from the corner of her eyes and sighed.
"Geez. Quit your stupid dare and get yourself a slice of pizza." I looked at Jarose with bright eyes. No questions asked we immediately sat near them and took a slice of the pizza.
"Ohhh it's so good!" I sat beside Jarose and hugged her. She's always been like this, the caring type.
"Thank you, Rosie!" She looked at me and smiled at me.
"You looked like so pitiful and childlike that I decided to break your dare." I gasped and she whispered something in my ear. "Don't worry it's a secret that you always dream of marrying a pizza." She winked at me. My mouth fell open and I looked at her with wide eyes. How does she know?
After a very long day of movie marathons, eating foods, gossiping, playing games, and even some dancing. We all crashed in Jarose's bedroom. Her bed's so neat but fluffy.
"Today was such a fun day!" Ariella stretched and grabbed a pillow. We all smiled at each other.
"Good night, sweethearts. We still have a long day tomorrow." Jarose murmured as she closed the night lamp.
I looked at them and they're all asleep. It seems like I'm the only one who can't sleep. Jarose looked so peaceful as well as the other girls.
"I wish we're always like this." Sighing, I hugged the pillow tighter. We wouldn't have to enter this kind of world if that didn't happen before.
We've always been friends. Although, Jarose was always cranky and a little snobbish. We adored her because she cared so much. She looks so strong on the outside but she's soft in the inside.
Flashback
We decided to meet in the park to play tag. Everyone was there and as usual Jarose sat under a tree, while she read a book.
"Jarose, why don't you join us?" Alynna grabbed her arm and Jarose hissed. She let go of her arm and looked at her in shock.
"Are you okay?" By now we were encircling her.
"Yeah." She faintly smiled. That's a fake smile. I don't believe her. Her smile didn't even reach her eyes. So bent down and looked at her arm; it was covered with cuts and bruises.
"Jarose, what happened to you?" We gasped. She looked at us then back to her book.
"This is nothing." She urged and flipped through her book.
"Nothing? Tell us." She didn't want to tell us but we were stubborn. After a couple more urging she let the beans out.
"It's my grandfather. He beats me because he thinks I'm unfit to carry the family business. Mama and Papa are not aware of this beatings. Well, it's not uncommon since they're always away on business. He never liked me but he has no choice." We all were silent. How could her own grandfather beat her?
"What family business?"
"He said something about taking over a gang or something. And do you know what?" She said touching the cover of her book.
"What?"
"You're families have parts in it too."
End of Flashback
Well, it all started with that event that led to more events. Jarose, you sweetheart, we are always here for you. I looked at her and faced sideways.
