The Hacker

Frisk does not respond to the accusation, almost as if they were expecting it. "I filled my end of the bargain," Frisk explains "I assume you'll fill yours then?"

"Sure," Error lies, "you have my word. Now to handle this error."

"Sorry Chara," Frisk sighs, "but it's for the greater good."

Frisk begins to leave as Error starts a FIGHT.

"It's a glitchy day outside," Error begins, "birds are lagging, flowers are freezing, and kids like you," Error attacks, "are still alive."

You're gonna have a glitchy time.

Chara tries to SPARE Error.

"Heh," Error smirks, "do you really think you'll get MERCY after what you've done?"

Error attacks again. Chara douges. It all feels so familiar to them. They get another headache.

They see Frisk FIGHTing Sans in the judgement hall. "Please," Sans pleads, "RESET. That demon is dangerous, just RESET, and move on Frisk, they aren't worth it."

Sans is spareing Frisk. Frisk attacks.

"Fine," he smirks, "then I guess we're doing this the hard way. Look at this Frisk."

Sans takes a needle from his jacket pocket.

"Look familiar?" Sans asks, "it's DETERMINATION. If you do not RESET, you won't have a bad time... You'll have a hellish time."

Frisk FIGHTs again. Chara knows this isn't right, somehow, they know this isn't how things are meant to play out.

Sans injects the DETERMINATION into his skull. He attacks with everything he has, before beginning to melt.

"Not yet!" He yells, "I can't let you win! I won't let you win! RESET already! Let Chara die! They are a demon! They're manipulating you just like last time!"

Frisk does not respond, they only attack. Sans dodges and, continues to melt before finally stopping mid attack, exhausted.

Sans can't go on.

Frisk FIGHTs, killing Sans. Their LOVE increases...

"No," Sans growls, "I won't let you win." Megolovania begins to sound off, wrong somehow. Sans's eyes turn red, his white bone turns pitch black. "I won't let you win you dirty hacker!"

Error!Sans attacks.

This confuses Chara. If canon Sans is Error Sans then how is canon Sans still alive? Also, what does all this have to do with them?

Error continues attacking. Chara decides to outright ask Error, at worst, he'll ignore them.

Chara uses ACT to ask.

"Hey Error," they ask, "you were once canon Sans, weren't you?"

Error turns away. His attacks are less accurate. Chara douges Error's next attack with ease.

Chara asks again.

"Care to explain what happened there?" Chara asks. Error does not reply.

Error attacks once more, outright missing in his distress.

Error is clearly bothered by something.

"If you're gonna kill me," Chara continues, "I at least want to know why."

Error turns to look at Chara. "You wanna know?" Error asks, "fine. That RESET was many RESETs ago. We were happy on the surface, but then, Frisk seemed bothered by something. Saying there was one last thing they had to do. They made a SAVE to load later, and RESET. Then they started genocide. Before facing me, they SAVEd. It was then I realized that they were serious about this. I stole some DETERMINATION. I had found out they'd been writing in the book sold to them by the turtle merchant. They dropped it, and I took if, looking for something, anything, to explain this behavior. They had been writing that in the Underground, you had guided them, a soulless husk. They claimed, after messing around with RESETing at odd points, they could change things. They wanted to use this power to SAVE  Chara, to SAVE you. I had to stop them, even if they could SAVE you, it wouldn't be worth the risk. I stole some DETERMINATION. They still killed me, but I refused. I continued to FIGHT until I was completely glitched. Then they fled. Should've made their soul green. Anywho, they made the deal to give you their soul, and that's when they RESET. I woke up in the Antivoid. You were free, and had to be stopped. However, before I went after you, other AUs appeared. I decided to handle them first. Meanwhile, I was replaced, a new canon Sans took my place, forgetting Frisk's glitching, but I remembered, I was the original. But now, here we are, just you and me, and before you get any ideas," Chara's soul turns green, "remember I've been planning this for a long time. So, you wanna have a hellish time?"
