Hey, just a little authors note, please give this story a chance!
It was a typical school day until I was on the bus and saw William. He whispered something to my friend Katie, then she whispered it to Victoria. It kept going until the whole bus heard about it, except me.I got suspicious and asked Katie what William told her. "Tell me, tell me please please please! I'll be your best friend," she begged.
"Tell you what," I asked. "Who your dating silly, the whole bus knows about it. Oh, I know, it's that kid Austin," she said excitedly. "NO WAY," I snapped. "What are you even talking about?!"
Just then, William whispered something in her ear. "Oh, so it's Ian that your dating. I knew you two would end up together, your such a cute couple" she said. "Wait a second, what? I have no idea whats happening here," I said very confused.
"Oh, don't be so modest," she said happily. Just then, my supposed boyfriend walked up and tried to kiss me. I secretly punched him and hurriedly whispered "why did you start a rumor of us dating?!" He looked confused for a second, and then a light bulb went off. "I didn't, I thought you did," he whispered back.
Meanwhile, Katie had vanished, I wasn't too worried about that right now. "Why in the world would I make up this stupid rumor?! And if you didn't do it, and I didn't do it, then who did," I shot back. "I don't know either! If I knew, I would tell you," he said, a little angry.
Just then, I got an amazing idea. "Okay," I said. "Lets pretend we're totally in love so we don't let whoever made up this rumor win. If we get angry, he wins." His face lit up like a Christmas tree. "That's a brilliant idea!"
"Okay, now hold my hand and kiss me like your having the time of your life," I said. So, we kissed and kissed and kissed. Too soon, came my stop came. "See you later honey," he said. I said happily, "right back at ya!" When I looked back at the bus, everyone was staring. ............................................................................................................................................................................................
