The next day I got to the bus stop, he was waiting for me. "Hey baby, whats up" he said. I was confused for a second until I remembered our plan. "You know you don't have to act like that when we're alone, right?" "I know," he said. "I'm just using this time wisely." "Um, okay," I said, a little awkward. I bet he really likes me. Then the bus came and I didn't even notice that people were already arriving to get on the bus. "Are you ready," I asked. "I've always been ready", he replied. Now,the fun part begins!
When we got on the bus he hugged me and let me get the window seat. "Do you want me to take your book bag for you," he asked. "Yeah, thanks." I replied and smiled. When everyone was settled on the bus it got moving again. I noticed people were staring at us.
"Time to turn up the charm," I whispered to him. So, he held my hand and kissed my cheek. "Is that okay," he asked like a gentleman. "Yeah, it's fine. As long as we don't sleep together, were okay," I said back.
And with that, he laughed out loud. Then, some random kid asked us how our relationship was going. For some reason, anger bubbled inside of me. "Good," I said. "Not that it's really any of your business. Say, how is your girlfriend? I heard she dumped you."
That got rid of him and I thought, good riddance! Just then, my friend Kaitlyn walked up the aisle to us and sat i the seat behind us. She whispered "you guys aren't really in love, are you?" We both shook our heads no. "That's what I thought," she said smugly.
