"Maddie, I think we need to talk." Chloe said with a stern voice.
"Girls! Let's go! We don't have all day!" Abby's screeches cut through the air like a knife.
Maddie took this as an opportunity to jet from the bus.
"Maddie! Come here! You can't avoid me forever!" Chloe yelled, her voice full of anger and worry. "I need to talk to Paige. We need to break up, soon."
