Louis spread his legs, and Harry's hands touched him. They glided up his thighs, then back down, copper and brass clinking together as Harry touched the outfit he had made. Louis put his arms up, looking at the owl ahead of him as Harry pushed a pin into the sleeve of the shirt. Louis watched him mark it with a line, then take the silver object out again.
"What's this for?" he asked, looking down at himself.
He was wearing a pair of off-white trousers that hugged him like tights, and a deep green asymmetric shirt that folded over his left hip, ending at the knee, where it trailed back up to his waist by the other hip. Over the shirt he had a brown corset that left place for things to be attached to the back of it, and also had a front pocket for his rose. He wore long brown boots to match, with slight heels but not too much. Tucked into the shirt was a brown scarf that was Louis' own style, and on his head were emerald-green eye glasses.
"It's for a new invention." Harry said when he had got rid of all the pins tucked between his teeth. "More importantly, it's for Erin."
Louis raised his eyebrows in surprise, "My baby Erin?" He asked, and Harry nodded, "When did he come and see you?"
The gypsy smiled, obviously thinking of something, before saying "He came to my house a few weeks back, quite a chatterbox when he gets started.." He let out a soft laugh, "He came to the café, asking for a cup of hot chocolate. The lad had been saving up all day for it, so we gave him two, telling him he could come around anytime. He wanted to talk to me personally so I brought him up here."
He pushed a pin in, making Louis' yelp when it pricked his skin. Harry apologised, patting Louis' arm before continuing. "He wanted to talk about quite a few things actually; the first being about himself.."
He trailed off and Louis felt the mood get heavier around them. He knew the effect Erin had on people, and he could see that that effect had burned in iron on Harry's heart. "He sat on the bed and looked up at me with those big green eyes of his. They started to tear and those tears never stopped falling. Your Erin came up to me and said,
'I want to be strong, just for Louis. I want to prove that I can be brave. But most of all, I want to survive because if I don't, then Louis will be sad, and that's something I can't bare to think about.'
Louis nodded slowly, feeling that knife twist in his chest, and Harry continued to speak. "You made a fighter, you really did. That boy looks up to you more than anyone. The reason he's still alive is you, I'm sure of it. That hope in his heart is the Leader himself, don't ever betray him."
Louis looked up, fire burning in his eyes as he nodded. He put a hand on his heart and closed his eyes "I'll love him, until the end." he promised.
Until the end..
Harry smiled, lips curling up in the corners as he nodded in approval. He trusted Louis to stay loyal to his comrades more than he trusted the man with anything. "You can take this off now." He said, patting the silk around Louis' waist. "You've been more than helpful, thank you."
