Chapter Ten

Today was the day.

Kurt felt like vomiting when his father parked the car in a spot not too far from the tall, intimidating building. The building where a judge would decide if Kurt has to spend time wearing gloves and have his claws clipped or if the judge would be in his favor and let him go safely. The only thing that kept Kurt from wanting to squish into the backseat floor was the waving and comforting smiles of Wes, David, Nick, Jeff, Blaine and the rest of the Warblers. The sight of them waving, smiling and what sounded like calling for Kurt made the hybrid feel happy as his tail flicked happily against the seat. He got out along with Finn, Carole, his grandparents and Burt. Kurt ran over and let himself be smothered by all of his friends. His family watched as each of the Warblers gave the hybrid a hug of comfort to calm him before beginning to break out in a song as they always do.
