The Transfers *An EXO FanFiction*

Chapter 1

It was just like every other day. I had just arrived into form 10 minutes early as usual to greet my tutor and friends with a hearty hello. I sat at my desk opposite the whiteboard and turned to my friend Lara.

"Good morning L, Learn any new Korean words since yesterday?" I said

"Hi River, yes I have. I'm getting better eh?" She replied in Korean, although her pronunciation was a little off. 

"He he yeah, you will soon be better than me! Although I highly doubt it.." I whispered the last part in Korean as she furlowed her eyebrows at me.

"There you go again, whispering in Korean! Sometimes I doubt that you are even English" we both giggled and carried in our conversation....I think we managed to go from cats to flying giraffes.

"But what is they take over the worldddd!!" Lara threw her hands up to emphasize her *point*

"Then we would all be....." I couldn't finish my sentence because the head master walked in. I wonder who's in trouble this time.

''I'm terribly sorry to interrupt but I need go borrow Ms Winters as a translator, please follow me River'' He said, gesturing for me to follow him with his hand. I wonder who the new student is.

We began to walk throughout the wide building, passing multiple classrooms full of students until we reached a large red door. We stopped in front of it and he spoke .

''Its a class of 12 students, they all speak little English but are fluent in Korean like yourself. On of them can speak fluently in English but I will let you figure that out, good luck and here is your new time table with them" he passed me and envelope and walked away. Well its either now or never.

I opened the door and all noise from within came to silence. Well thats intimidating I thought to myself. I took a deep breath and opened the door wide open. I nearly chocked when I saw what was on the other side. 12 very cute teenage boys sat at singular desks spread throughout the room, no teacher was present....great.

I stood there for a few seconds scanning the room, yep I was in for a tough job. Each of the boys has something different about them though, whether it be there hair or the way the just looked at me. It was quite weird. I finally worked up the courage to speak.

"Hello, I'm the ermm translator" I spoke in fluent Korean

"We know" someone spoke from the back of the room in english, so this must be the fluent speaker.

"Yeah sorry, are you the fluent speaker?" I asked

He stood up and walked over to me. Gosh he was tall and intimidating. Not to self, don't piss off this guy.

"Yes I'm the fluent speaker, my name is Wu fan but you may call me Kris. I wish you the best of luck getting these guys to introduce themselves" He shook my hand and sat in a chair close to me at the front of the classroom. Wow thanks for the help Kris.

"Okay so.....would you guys like to introduce yourselves? I can speak both Korean and Chinese so either is fine" I spoke in Korean *Everything said after this will be in Korean/Chinese unless I say English sowwy for the confusion X3*

A small owl eyed boy stood up and gave Me a small smile.

"Hello, my names Kungsoo but you may call me D.O. Its nice to meet you" he spoke and then sat back down. 2 down 10 to go.

Before I could speak another boy with may I say awesome black eyeliner on walked over to me and engulfed me on a hug.

"Hii time baekhyun and may I say you look nice today. I hope we become close friends!" He began to jump with me still tightly in a hug. This guy was adorable but I need some air. I heard small snort from the back of the classroom and we both faced that direction.

"That's chenyeol, don't mind him he's just.....anti diva" I high 

es at his air quoting and smiled at chenyeol. He family smirked and looked at the wall. Whale den I shall try and avoid you.

Slowly but surely everyone introduced themselves. The boy with rainbows in his hair was name Sehun although he needed a little help bronouncing his name provided by baekhyun. A tall boy with cute dimples introduced himself as Yixing but asked me to call him Lay. Another with a curly smile was called Chen who also introduced a very shy boy called tao who looked like a little panda cub. A chubby cheeked boy said hello and kmt produced himself as XiuMim, he even asked me to poke his cheeks. Adorable! Then a very attractive boy might I add kissed my hand and calls himself Kai but added that I may call him anytime...I smell a player. If aly the second to last introduced himself in simple English as Suho, also known as the leader of these boys although he didn't look it.

I then turned my attention to a boy sat alone at the back of the classroom. He caught my attention earlier. He was quite handsome but that isnt what made him stand out. He looked alone and isolated from the group as if he didn't know what was going on, he just sat there while looking out of the window. I felt bad for him so I decided to sit next to him, he looked Chinese so I decided to try that first.

"Hi there I'm river, whats your name?" I smiled at him as I pulled up a chair. Everyone seemed to look at me weirdly as if I had said something wrong. Oh that's right, I forgot to tell them my name and I'm also speaking in Chinese.

"I'm...LuHan.''he gave me a week smile and rubbed his hand together nervously.

"Why are you sat on your own?" I asked. He hesitated at first but then he spoke a reply.

" I can't speak Korean so I'm often on my own since they can't speak fluent Chinese. My only friend in this group is Kris since he's the only one who can understand me. I've tried to speK to them before but nothing works" he looked as if he was about to cry. Wow he must feel so alone, it reminds me of when I was in Seol a few years ago being one of the only English speakers.

I couldn't think of anything to say so I did what I could only do. I hugged him .

"Don't worry I'm here now, you have me" I pulled away and smiled at him. He looked like a happy little deer after I said that. I stood up and walked back over to where Kris was sat.

"Okay guys I'm River if you didn't hear before and I'm going to be helping you guys in your lessons and around school so please be kind to me. I have our scedual here so please give me a second to look at it with Kris since he speaks the most English" I looked over to Kris and he nodded. I repeated what I had said in Chinese for LuHan and asked him to sit by me while I sort things out.

"Okay so by the looks of things all of your lessosns will be in here or the room above us since they are rhe biggest classrooms. The way we will do this is I will translate what the teacher says for you all and also manage your work by translating that also. I will also have an hour with you all a day if teach them English and jn Luhans case Korean so that he can communicate with you all. Sound good Kris?" I raised an eyebrow awaiting his approval.

"That sounds great river, I appreciate the help and dedication you're willing to give these idiots" I giggled at his comment and high fived him. Right on cue the bell rang and the teacher walked in. I asked them All to sit on there seats and I sat between luhan and Kris.

The first lesson was maths which is quite easy to translate. Well this is going to be interesting..

Hai guys! I had an idea for this story awhile ago but I've only just written if X3 I'm taking a break from my other fan fiction to write this one since my love for EXO is still growing! I apologize for not introducing them all individually but it would of taken fo evarrr, I may edit it in the future :) so paweezs don't hate me and enjoy the first chapter hehe
