Chapter 4

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm sowly bringing me away from dream land. The time was around 7am which meant I had 2 hours to get ready for work. I quickly grabbed everything I needed, had a shower and then ran downstairs to carry on getting ready.

"Woah, up on time for once River. How did it go at the new neighbors yesterday? I didn't really getvthe chance to ask more about it yesterday" My mother asked why silently drinking her tea. I began to catch my breath as i threw everything on the couch and sat down.

"It went quite well since they're from my school, they also really enjoyed the cake you sent and even invited me to stay awhile...Its nice to have someone living there again after Eve moved away." I grabbed a piece of toast and jammed it into my mouth. What can I say, im a messy eater

"I know I feel the same, it's been awfully quiet since she moved away so its nice to finally have the noise back" She smiled at me after placing her cup back onto the table. I glanced up at the time and noticed how quickly the time had flown by.

"I've got to finish getting ready, I'll be home at 8" I kissed my mother on the cheek and rushed back upstairs to finish. It took me maybe half an hour to finish packing a few things and dry my hair. I ran downstairs with bag in hand and grabbed the spare order book from the coffee table and headed out.

Since it was around 9am it was quite light and vibrant outside, but there was still a bitter cold wind dancing through the trees.The restaurant I sadly work at wasn't too far from my house so the walk was small and peaceful.

Well it was.

As usual there he stood, on the corner of the street waiting for me as he always does.

"Well hello River, need someone to guide you to school this fine morning?" The boy stood up straight and offered me his hand.

"Not today Yesung, I've not got time to play your game today" I said with annoyance clear in my voice.

"Awe come on Riv, maybe today is the day you finally fall for me" He winked at me. I stopped dead in my tracks and glared at him.I gave up and sighed.

"Listen Yesung, I think you're a wonderful person but I don't like you in that way, you need to give up on me and find someone who will return those feelings....Also please tell Leetuk and Eunyuk to stop hiding in the bushes, they may get hurt." I gestured to the bush behind us and as if on cue the two tall boys shot up and rubbed the back of there heads.

"Oh err...hello River, what a coincidence meeting you here" Leetuk stuttetred as Eunhyuk just smiled.I looked back at an awkward looking Yesung and motioned Leetuk to follow me.

"You two go home and study or something, just don't let me catch you hiding outside of work! Also Leetuk if you don't come with me now you'll be late for the second time this week, you know that our manager will be very upset if you are" I waved back as we speed walked Down the street to a bright white building.

We jogged into the building before anyone could notice and began to prepare to open. I caught sight of Cara and quickly grabbed the order book and threw it at her. "Bring your own next time!" I shouted as I set the tables...Today was going to be hectic and we hadn't even opened yet.

I had just sat down on the counter for a quick time out, the place was gull of people eating and ordering so my job was never ending. Thankfully one if the back up waitresses Luna gave me a thumbs up and covered for me while I had a second to breath.

"Psst River" I could hear Cana calling me from the storage room. I squinted my eyes at her but still reluctantly got up and walked over to her.

"Wha--" she hushed me and dragged me into the massive storage room.

"Well this isn't creepy at all" I said while looking around. She lightly giggled.

"Oh you...anyways we could speak with all that noise out there, I want you to tell me about these new neighbors of yours!" She squealed. I mentally face palmed myself but I ended up telling her anyway.

"Woah, so two of the twelve guys live there? I must meet the rest if them! what if they're all as cute as you sa--" I put my hand over her mouth and shushed her.

"Cana, I didn't say that!" I whisper shouted, she smirked at me while slowly opening the door. Her eyes widened but she didn't move.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Oh erm...River, you know those neighbors of yours? Is one really tall and another small and deer like?" She said, still facing forward.I pushed past her slightly. I smiled softly as I saw Kris and LuHan stood at the side till as if they were waiting for something. I slowly walked over to them and tapped LuHan on the shoulder.

"Yay River, we finally found you!" LuHan squealed as he tugged on Kris's sleave. I smiled at the both before remembering why I walked over here.

"So, is there something you guys need?" I asked. I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Cana blushing beside me. Oh gosh, she's fallen for them already.

"We asked your mother if you were home but she said you were here so we came to give you this." Kris lifted his hand up to show me what he had brought. It was my Totoro bag I had left yesterday.

"I knew I had left something! Thank you both so much, you didn't have to come here to give me it though" I said while playing with the straps on the bag.Kris rubbed the back of his head in an awkward manner before speaking again, this time in Chinese.

"Well LuHan wouldn't stop asking to see you so he drove me crazy until we came here" We both looked at a blushing Luhan. "Plus... We have a little bad news" As if on cue once again 10 boys pushed and shoved through the small front door and smiled at us. I swear Cana fainted as I just stood there wide eyed.

"Hey River!" They all cheered. Oh Bother.

Hey everyone! I'm really sorry about how late thus update is, Wattpad was being mean and not uploading my chapters and deleting them :( Thankfully I remembered most of what I have written :3 I've added a few other characters as fillers *Maybe even little side main parts* so hopefully you should slowly see a few other Kpop idols appear!
