To Be a Fool

It doesn't take much work

to be a fool.

It doesn't take a lot of thought

to be a fool.

So why is it that when we think somethings right

it just makes us look like a fool?

I was a fool to trust a boy

who was the biggest fool to mess with me.

But i'm not the fool

who keeps repeating a never-ending cycle.

You're the fool to waste your heart away

to a man whom you've never met.

And as much as it pains me

to stand around and watch,

I won't be supporting you with a smile.

I won't be caught up with a fool

who reminds me of my mistake.

So when you fall and cry over him

I'll still be the fool who will hold you when you're weak.
