Speaking of the Devil.
Bryce sighed deeply as he stared at his boyfriend who was zoned out and completely ignoring his existence like he normally did when he gave lectures like this. All Bryce was asking for was a little help around the house and with the bills but no, he couldn't even get that. Instead he got a boyfriend who zoned out and didn't care about a word that came out of his mouth. "Forget it." He finally gave up and exited the room to the kitchen where he'd have to count his money and see how much money he had left in his name. The blonde simply counted all the money he had left and gave a grunt.
He had enough money to pay all the bills but the only downside was he would have no more money left at all. Not a dime in his name.
Bryce separated all the money and then put them in envelopes and sat them in his boyfriends lap who only snapped from his daze. "That's all the bills. All you have to do is run them out and drop them in the box so we will have lights and water as well as a car. I've got to head to work but when you get finished you can stop by if you want." Jonathan nodded as he took the envelopes and left without a word.
•Dans Diner...
Bryce smiled at his costumers as he laid their food on the table, eyes locking with the teens. The girl seemed to smirk at that which caused him to give an awkward cough as he stood upright. "If you need anything just call and I'll be here. Until then enjoy your meal." He walked away to the table where a man in a hat sat, "Hi welcome to Dans Diner! May I take your order?"
The man turned around and his hazel eyes locked with Bryce's causing his blue ones to go wide. "Yeah, I would like a cup of coffee and some chocolate pancakes." Bryce coughed a little as he jotted down what the man wanted. This was the same guy who came in with that Canadian boy and two girls. He knew exactly why he was here too. "Alright I'll be right back with that."
As he excused himself Bryce walked quickly back to the back and gave the order to the cook before nearly clawing his brains out. And if things couldn't get worse his boyfriend had just walked inside. Now this was really awkward.
"Hey Bryce you okay man?" Brock, the cook, asked. "You look pale."
"Uh yeah I'm perfectly fine man.."
Brock eyed the male as he leaned against the counter with a sick look on his face. "Order up." The man said as he sat the plate down next to the blonde who only swallowed before grabbing the plate and making his way out the door to hand his food to Ryan. "Here you go is there anything else I can get you." The man took off his hat and say it down beside his food before speaking, "Your number."
"Sorry I don't think that's gonna happen.." He looked around nervously, eyes locking with his boyfriends for a second. "I uh, I got to go if you need me just call out."
Ryan went to say something but it was too late for the blonde was making his way back to the table he had got earlier. Bryce smiled as he talked to the family, ignoring their child's gaze. It was one of those moments where you felt really weird just looking at someone directly. He couldn't tell you why either.
After the family left Bryce made his way back to Ryan's table only to be confronted by Jonathan before he was able to speak. "Hey babe I've got to go get something from Luke so I'll be back okay? I don't know what time but shouldn't take long okay." He blinked at his boyfriends words as Ryan stared at the two men standing in front of his table. "Um, okay. Be safe?" Jonathan smiled before kissing the blondes cheek and taking off.
"I see why." Ryan smiled faintly. "You're taken."
Bryce smiled softly at the male sitting at the table as he have a slight nod. "No worries," Ryan began as he leaned back in his seat. "I can wait." The blonde's face lit up slightly at those words.
•Hours Later...
It was time for Bryce to leave but after texting his boyfriend five hundred times he knew he wasn't getting a reply back. This just so happened to be the third time this has happened to him. Bryce looked behind him to see Ryan and Brock coming from the Diner which caused him to look away as he leaned on the brick wall. "Hey Bryce you need a ride?" Brock asked nicely.
"Um, no I am waiting on my boyfriend.."
Brock frowned a little at that as he looked to his friend. "We both know he won't be back until late. Look, why don't you let Ryan take you home okay? He's a nice guy." Bryce nearly choked on his spit at that as he quickly denied. "Yeah I'll take you home. Come on." Ryan said with a small grin on his lips.
How did Brock talk him into this?
Bryce was now sitting in the passenger side of the man's car with a emotionless look on his face. His blue eyes stared out the window in a daze as he listened to the music playing in the car. It wasn't bad compared to what Ryan looked like he listened too.
"Here?"
Bryce snapped from his daze when they stopped in front of his house. "Yeah, thanks." The blonde unbuckled and went to step out when Ryan stopped him. "Hey Bryce can I ask you something?" The blonde turned and looked at him with a raised brow. "Whys your boyfriends name?"
"Jonathan. Why?"
Ryan grinned at that name. "You'll see.."
