It felt like I glided through the forest. The morning chill made my paws numb. I slowed down and another Hunter behind me slowed too. I lay still in the tall grass of the meadow next to our woods, a doe was grazing a little bit ahead of us. I crept forward, and the Hunter went a wide berth around.

Once I got close enough I jumped out and the doe ran off, the Hunter jumped on the doe causing her to buck but the wolf hung on only clawing the doe more. I sprinted towards the commotion and brought the doe down, soon ending it.

"Good job Passion, you're a natural." The Hunter, had said. "Thanks Arrow, it was a team effort though." The rusty brown she wolf nods. We put the doe on our backs and make our way back to camp as quick as possible.

"Good work you two!" Trip chirps to us as we place the deer down in camp. I nod to him and settle down on a rock in the sun, waiting for all the wolves to get their fill.

Once everyone settles down I get up and go towards the nightly feast, seeing the Omegas slowly coming up. I nod for them to come up and we all share, I am Hunter ranked but I want to make sure no wolves suffer because I was higher born.

After the stars and moon was high up I waited for everyone to sleep. I had to go find out what was going on. I just know something is up. As I start to sneak off I hear a small voice, "Where are you going Passion?" I look down and see Gypsy, a pup, bounding towards me. "Just getting some fresh air, all that food made me stiff." She nods and I nudge her towards her mothers den. Phew so far so good.

I finally sneak out of the camp and escape the woods quietly. I climb up a huge hill in the meadow and look into the distance. There was movement and some source of light like the sun was trapped.

I go down the hill and head towards the light, I have to investigate.
