Expect the Unexpected (One Piece AU!Highschool)

~Chapter 2~

Irka's POV

"Just open yours and see what it says. It might say the same thing as mine." She said to me, keeping her gaze upon me.

I sighed and started to open the letter i recieved, reading it as soon as i opened it.

'Congratulations. You have been selected to continue your education at the Education Board of Irregular Academics Academy (EBIA Academy). Due to your achievements--' i didnt get a chance to finish reading the rest of the letter before it was snatched out of my hands

"You do have the same letter as me!" Ella exclaimed. "Are you going? I am! It'll be better than this school." I heard her say as i was thinking about my decision.

There was a silence between us two the rest of the walk back to the classroom. I was mentally creating a pros and cons list about transferring to EBIA Academy. We took our seats and i couldnt seem to even hear the teachers, being lost in my own thoughts for the rest of class.

Moments later i hear theend of the school bell ring.

"So, are you going?" Ella asked me eagerly, walking next to me.

I looked at her and sighed. "Yeah, i'll go." I said to her and watched her as she jumped up cheerfully.

Once i got home, i told my parents about transferring school and let them read the letter i recieved. After they read it and giving me a tight hug, i grabbed an empty suitcase and ran up to my room then started to pack up my belongings.

Once i was done, i grabbed my phone and called Ella, to get her to come over so we could ride the same transportation vehicle. She didnt live too far away from my, probably like a 5-minute walk.

She cheerfully agreed and hung up the phone, showing up at my house about 5 minutes later with a suitcase. She walked into the house and put her suitcase next to mine, greeted my parents, then turned to me.

"Okay so i already called the number on the letter and they said they'll be here soon. I gave them your address too." She informed me.

Sometimes she was such an adult...

"What do we do until then?" I asked her then instantly regretted it when i saw her smile wide.

"Follow meeeeee~" she said as she ran outside and started to run around the outside my house.

"Why must i ask her?" I asked myself out loud and followed her though i was walking.

It came to the point where we ended up inside eating some cookies, waiting for whoever to come, while my parents went out on some date im assuming.

DING DONG

I went to open the door to be greeted by a tall professional looking man.

"Im here to take Irka and Ella to EBIA Academy." The man had said.

"We'll be out in a moment." I replied to the man in my sweetest most polite voice and afterwards i watched him walk back to the vehicle.

"Ella! Its time to go!" I called out and saw her walk over with some cookies from earlier in her hands.

Of course...shes like a cookie monster...

"Okay, lets go!" She said cheerfully as she grabbed her suitcase, shoved a cookie in her mouth then walked out the door towards the car. I followed after her, making sure everything was locked and neat.

I sat next to her in the back seat while the driver started to take off.

I felt Ella leaned against my shoulder while i was on my phone, waiting for us yo arrivr at out destination.

I looked over at her. 'Shes still has the cookies in her hand, and some cookie crumbs on her face. Shes such a baby sometimes..' i mentally laughed at her.
