She said it could have meant brother. I don't wanna go through this again for now. Jeez I promised her.
*3 years later* (I told you guys there would be lots of time skipping)
As I was giving my two year old son Adrian, Alexis came running down the stairs and was dancing around holding my phone.
"Alexis what are you doing?" I asked and began to giggle because of her sillyness.
"I'm listening to Beyonce." She said.
I chuckled and said "You are just like your dad."
She kept dancing and playing around. I didn't mind letting her use my phone because I had nothing to hide.
Mario was back from work meaning it was almost time for me to go work and now Mario had to take care of the kids. I already did school today so I wont stress out after work.
"DADDY!!!" Alexis and Adrian yelled and ran up to him.
He hugged them and said "I missed you guys."
I kissed Mario and said "Welcome home."
I was done feeding Adrian and I went upstairs to go get ready for work.
As I was walking downstairs, Alexis came up to me and said "Mom why can't you stay?"
"Because I have to go to work who else is going to buy you food. Nothing in this life is free." I said.
"Right." She said.
"Well I have to go work. I'll be back in no time." I said.
I went over to my kids and gave them a hug and a kiss on the cheek. After I went over to Mario and I gave him a kiss.
"Ewwwww stop it mommy." Alexis said and made a face like she was grossed out.
Mario and I laughed and said "Oh Alexis seriously."
"Well for real I have to go i'll see you later." I said and headed out the door.
*After work*
I opened the door and saw the kids and Mario all cuddled up watching Finding Nemo. They notciced me and ran up to me.
"MOMMY YOUR'E BACK!!!" The kids said.
"I missed you two." I said
"HEY WHAT ABOUT ME!?" Mario said and fake pouted.
"I missed you too." I said and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Let's keep watching Finding Nemo." Alexis said and ran to the couch.
We all cuddled and kept watching Finding Nemo. Before the movie could end, the kids were asleep. I carried Adrian upstairs and Mario carried Alexis upstairs. We set the down in their bed and we headed to our room and slept.
