One breakfast meal later, Daisy and Naldo came back to the lab. Since she was made quickly distracted with talking to the girls, leaving Barry and Naldo alone in the corner.
Cyd and Shelby were making plans with each other for their next time travel adventure, and Barry was occupied with trying to recreate Naldo's hair gel as usual. As his assistant, Naldo just simply watched him put it together for the most part, but hey also debated about it from time-to-time.
"Barry, that's not the right color. It's supposed to be green."
"Blue."
"And it's not that mushy."
"Yes it is, Renaldo. It's hair gel."
"That doesn't seem right to me."
"Will you let me focus? I know what I'm doing."
"I doubt it."
"You're NOT helping."
"I'm just saying." Naldo stated as a final remark, which only got him a groan and a head shake as a silent response. Nothing else was said after all of that. Soon deciding to let Barry do his own thing, Naldo made his way over to the three girls and listened in on their conversation.
"I have to say, temporarily turning into a werewolf was really cool. I wish I could have a sample of Barry's wolf hormone."
"But you didn't take the hormone. Diesel drank it, and then puked on you."
"I know. I'd rather not receive it like that again. Drinking it would be a preferred method for me."
"Fair enough. But you weren't yourself as a werewolf. I don't want to lose you. Or try to coax you into being yourself again. That was scary for me. Especially since I really thought I lost you."
"Yeah, you're right..." Cyd mumbled under her breath in agreement, although she seemed rather bummed out about it. "I hate it when you're right."
"It's better than being wrong." Shelby answered innocently, a quick toss of her shoulders accompanying her words.
Walking away from the conversation after a while, Naldo went back over to Barry, who was still working with the hair gel.
"Perfect! Renaldo, I think I've really got it now. This /has/ to work." He told him after a while, out of excitement. Taking a quick glance at the beaker, Naldo noticed right away that it was a similar color to his hair gel. Even though he didn't know what specific contents were in it, nor did he know what he put in the original batch, Naldo just went along with it.
"It sure looks like it this time, Barry. I think it should work."
"Great! But just in case it doesn't... Renaldo, do you mind being my test subject for this?"
"Not at all, buddy." Naldo responded simply as he moved to stand in the way of the laser. Barry placed a stool in-between the other male and the laser, and then rested the beaker on top of the surface of it. Soon enough, he was stood behind the laser, ready to activate it.
"Okay, Renaldo. Here we go. In 3... 2... 1..." Barry counted down, and then activated the laser. After the beam went through the beaker, it reached and surrounded Naldo in its usual bright ray. After it turned off, Barry eagerly ran over to and pestered him with questions.
