Stranger things book edition

Two

             

                        Sprinklers lightly spray someones lawn. A voice whispers "Something is coming. Something hungry for blood" "A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness" whispers a blackish/brownish haired boy. His hair is short but it curls under his chin. His name is Mike. "It is almost here" he whispers on. 

"What is it?" said his brown haired friend, Will.

"What if its the demogorgon?" Says his curly brown haired friend, Dustin "Oh Jesus were so screwed if its the demogorgon" he states 

"Its not the demogorgon." says his other short haired black friend, Lucas

"An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" continues Mike as he places a game piece onto the table.

"Troglodytes?" snorts Dustin

"Told ya!" giggled Lucas

Everyone laughs 

"Wait a minute" Mike says softly while looking sadly over his shoulder

"Did you hear that" he says with worry in his voice

"That... That sound" 

"Boom...boom.."

He yells "BOOM" while slamming his hands on the table.

Everyone Gasps

"That didn't come from the Troglodytes" Mike  continues on. "No that came from something else"

"The Demogorgon!"

The room groans

"Were in deep Shit" Says Dustin stating the obvious

"Will, your action!" says Mike speaking over Dustin

"I dont know" Will responds stress fully

"Fireball him!"  yells Lucas

"I'd have to roll a 13 or higher!" Will responds once more seeming unsure what to do

"To risky. Cast a protection spell." Dustin suggests 

"Fireball him!" "Protection!" Argue Dustin and Lucas

Mike slams his fist on the table to get their attention "The demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering!" "It stomps closer to you!" He presumes "BOOM"

"FIREBALL HIM" Lucas frantically yells

"Another stomp! Boom!" interrupts Mike

"Cast protection" Dustin calmly yet quickly states

"He roars in anger!" yells Mike louder then the clamoring others

"FIREBALL!" screams Will while rolling the die

The die clatters on the table soon rolling off. The others watch in anticipation

" Oh shit!" "Were did it go?" "I dont know"

They all scramble around the room frantically trying to find the dice

"Is it a thirteen?" Says Dustin

"I dont know!"replys Will

"Were is it" Lucas repeats

"Oh my god!" Dustin says frustrated

Mikes mom Karen yells from another room "Mike!"

 "Oh my god! Oh my god!" Dustin repeats

"Mike!" Karen yells a bit louder
