Chapter 5: A Code's Saving

Y/N calm down. You can fix this. You can fix this.

Her fingers froze, hovering over the keyboard. Her screen reflecting her eyes.

SECURITY BREACHED

WARNING: SYSTEM BREACHED

REQUEST DENIED

Luciel poked his head in,"Yeah? What's u-" His eyes looked at Y/N as she was hunched over her laptop. He saw a glimpse of red and green, causing him to rush over to her side and shove her out of the way. 

"What did you do?!" He stared at the screen as his fingers hovered over the keys and his eyes staring at the screen.

"I-I don't know. It said I got access, but then it started beeping." She slid against the wall and looked up at Luciel.

"My goodness Y/N!"

"Sorry! I-"

"Y/N. This is just a false breach. See? There's no system code." He sighed and got up, staring down at Y/N as she froze with her hands in her hair.

A chuckle escaped his mouth. Y/N looked looked up and her eyes were pools of tears.  

"Do you wanna call off the bet?" He crouched in front of her as she held her head low and nodded.

He sighed and picked her up bridal-style, with her head leaning on his chest, he propped her onto the couch. He slid out his phone.

Vanderwood call off the assignment. Don't worry about Y/N's. I've already finished it. 

His phone clicked off and his footsteps was heard, making it's way to the freezer. The smoke floated out and he grabbed out [Favorite Flavored Ice Cream] ice cream.

"Y/N.. Do you want the whole tub?" 

"Yes.." Her voice was soft and almost inaudible as she stuffed her head more into the couch. 

Luciel took out the whole tub, a spoon and walked to the couch, putting the ice cream in front of her. 

The couch dipped down as Luciel sat close to her. 

Y/N took the tub and slowly began eating it,"Do you wanna watch a movie?" 

"Yeah.." 

The remote was grabbed and buttons were pressed to reveal the beginning of the movie.

By the end of the movie, Luciel could hear small snores from the small girl laying on his shoulder. 

"Your such a child." The red-head chuckled as he picked up Y/N and brought her to her bed. He laid her down, but as he did so, Y/N was holding tight onto his jacket. 

"Y/N. You gotta let go. I have to finish some work." His voice was soft. Y/N's head dug deeper into her pillow and her voice was muffled,"No. Not yet. I'm not tired." 

"But you fell asleep!" 

"Just don't go." 

Sighing in content, he sat on her bed next to her and waited a few minutes. Silence floated throughout the air as Luciel tried to get up. 

A hand gripped his jacket again,"No." A small tug was sent to the sleeve as Luciel sat back down. 

"I'm not sleepy yet. Just a little longer." Y/N's voice fades out and small snores were heard. The male standing beside her bed waited quietly for her hand to drop and he made his was out of the room. 

Slipping out his phone, he silently stood there, his fingertips making contact with the keys. 

His phone clicked off and proceeded to vibrate. 

"Hello?....Yeah...I'm going to have to call off the date. How about Thursday?...Okay...Bye." Shutting his eyes, Luciel fell onto the couch. His mind being whisked away at the though of Y/N.

Hey guys! Sorry that this chapter is really short. I try to have each chapter above 1000 words, but I'm really tired right now, so I didn't proof read and I just wanted to update! After this chapter is published, I will begin writing the Ciel x Reader. I'm also thinking of writing a romance novel, but my skills aren't high enough and  I'm trying to keep it slow with the stories. If i make too much stories at a time, then I will forget about the other books, forcing to have to cancel the whole book, like what happened with my Karma x Reader book.
