Everything was fine
It was all okay,
until someone special
swept her heart away,
She was told all her life,
she was ugly, and alone
she was fat, and weird,
all her flaws were shown.
Later in her years,
she created some more,
shed a few tears,
as a drop hit the floor,
She fell for him,
and she didn't believe,
that she wasn't good enough,
so she cried to sleep,
Everyday, when she looked in the mirror,
she saw no beauty,
she saw no worth,
for now it was becoming clearer.
How her golden hair fell so perfectly,
oh how she didn't know,
how her smile could light up the room.
or how her green eyes shone,
Some could say she looked like an angel,
she was blind, oh she was so pretty,
but she only heard labels,
Worthless and Ugly, oh what a pity,
But she was beautiful,
and she was wanted,
for he saw her,
and not what she wasn't.
She gave up,
but he did not,
he realized her beauty,
and he loved her a lot.
But he was too late.
The deed was done,
she was no more.
