The One

Scotland - Brendan's POV

I was driving through Galway heading home. It was quite windy... the streets were all deserted and house lights were on! Everyone was cozy inside... except one... A young woman was walking on the pavement with a few bags and was being blown about... she fell onto the road and I skidded around her to a fast stop. My head hit the steering wheel but it was fine... the girls bag when flying and hit my cars bonnet. As it did she ran over and grabbed her bag... I jumped out of the car and seen her! She was blowing all over the bit. I grabbed hold of her and giggled a little... I asked her if she was okay and she said she was fine but I could tell something was up... her eyes were really red as if she had just finished crying... I offered her a lift home... she accepted and I helped her into the car. I started to drive and as I did I asked her what part of the area she was from... she told me she wasn't from around here and was just visiting her now ex boyfriend... she also mentioned a hotel room and Scotland which meant she wasn't going to be staying here for very long... I gave her a halfhearted smile and asked if she wanted to stay at mine for free with everything included and a lift back to the airport tomorrow... I looked quickly back at the road and kept driving... a few minutes later she told me she would love to stay with me tonight! I smiled contently away to myself while she enjoyed the journey! I decided I would ask about her ex boyfriend and what happened between them! She explained that she was 16 and he wanted a lot more than a cute relationship and he tried to get what he wanted from her and she left him! She asked me for my name... I decided to make her guess... I gave her a hint: I was from this area... she sat and though for a while and then shouted "oh my god are you Brendan Murray" I gave a little giggle at this and nodded my head! I heard the lads in the back seat laugh and the girl got a bit confused... I laughed at her facial expression because it was just so funny... She turned her head to look behind her and she seen 3 other lads and passed out.... I kept driving and when we got to my house the lads all grabbed her bags and I carried her to the spare room. I didn't want to leave her all alone in a strangers house... but what else could I do? I couldn't exactly put her in my bed with me...

The next morning I woke up... I felt good about today because I got to see her again. She was so amazing... but she had to go home. I couldn't stop her she wanted to and it was her choice! I went into her room and asked if she was ready to go... she looked at me and jumped up as fast as she could go. She said yep and gave me a quick hug and whispered thank you in my ear! The car journey was pretty boring... me and the girl frequently smiled at each other... I didn't ask her name yesterday so I thought it was necessary that I did... she told me it was Chloe.... it was such a pretty name... it suited her well! She looked out the window and just sat and stared out of it.... When we finally reached the airport I wasn't wanting her to go but she had to..... she got on the plane and I felt terrible!!! A strange feeling came over me and I ran to check when the next plane was to Scotland! If she cared for me it would not be a waste of money or time! I needed to get to her! The next plane wasn't coming for a few hours so I went to Deans house because I always have some of my clothes there! I told dean everything and grabbed some of my stuff! He wished me good luck and I left! I got to the airport and got everything I needed... I wasn't going to regret this!

I was now in Scotland! I didn't have any clue where she would be until I heard her voice saying something about me!!! A seen the back of a girl with brown hair and the same bags as Chloe! She was sat with another girl talking... Both girls got up and started to walk away....... I shouted her name a few times and both the girls stopped and turned to look at me... I heard a small scream and then Chloe's friend was out cold lying on the ground! I gave a little laugh and there she was! I told her that it was just like her last night when she seen Dean Ryan and Cian.... she was a bit shocked that she passed out and we both just laughed! I picked up her friend and got directed to her car. I put her in the back seat and grabbed the keys! I mentioned to Chloe that Josh was in Scotland and she was all for going to see him because her friend Hannah was a huge fan of Josh!

I stopped outside a big house and told chloe and Hannah to wait in the car... even though hannah couldn't hear me because she was asleep! When I got inside josh came over and gave me a bro-hug. He was surprised to see me and asked why I was here... I told him all about Chloe and he seemed happy for me... I also told him about the other girl hannah and how she loved him! He gave me a cup of tea and we forgot all about the girls for a good 15 minutes... I told him we should go get them and so we went outside! Hannah was still asleep and Chloe was sat on her phone just messaging people like I always do! I told Chloe to come inside while josh grabbed hannah and carried her inside. She was starting to wake up so we sat her on the couch with Josh.
