Chloe's POV

"You should break up with him. He's done a lot already, right?" Aubrey, my best friend suggested.

She's talking about Tom, how I want to give him another chance last night but he blew it up by putting his tounge on some bitch's throat in front of me.

"Well, now I want to break him, like literally." I groaned and threw a pillow to the wall in front of us.

"I can help you with that actually."

"It's okay. I'm not even upset about breaking up with him--honestly, I'm upset THAT I did not break up with him earlier." I sighed.

"I knew it in the first place that we didn't work, it was just a one time thing. I guess I'm just afraid to be...alone."

I looked down to my thighs and Aubrey looked at me.

"Chloe, you're not alone. You have me and Stacie and the girls. You're not alone." Aubrey soothed as she hugged me sideways.

I smiled and fully hugged her.

"I know. I mean, I want someone who I can call mine, someone who'll love and accept me by who I am...Not some douche who cheats in front of my face."

"I understand and you'll find that someone...after you break up with Tom." She pulls back and sternly said.

"I will, but not now. I'm too tired."

"Okay...just know I'm here."

"Yeah and you can go now. Stacie will be looking for you.". I smirked.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes then stood.

"Text me tonight, okay."

"Yeah, bye." I stood up and lead her out the door then hugged her goodbye.

As the door closed, I started stripping to take a shower as Billie, my dog jump on the bed.

When I'm left on my underwear, my phone rang making Billie bark.

I took it without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Babe?! Please don't hang up!"

"Seriously? Ugh!" I said frustratingly and sat on my bed, forgetting the fact that I'm half naked.

"Let me explain."

Too tired to argue...

I didn't answer and he took it as a sign to speak.

"Okay, baby. It's not what it looks like and I was very drunk and...".

"And it's a good idea to make out with someone who's not your girlfriend Yeah, right." I sarcastically said.

"I'm sorry, it was a dumb idea and she was drunk, too. It was a heat in the moment and..."

And with that, I dropped the phone on my bed and laid down.

I put my hands on my face feeling pathetic.

Why can't I just be simply happy with someone?!

Billie suddenly jumped out from the bed and bark on the door.

I stood up and followed Billie, assuming someone's out.

"Okay, I'll get it." I patted my dog and I looked out at the door eye, finding no one.

Okay

But a purple paper bag is nestled on the floor.

Seeing that no one is out, I opened the door then stepped out, Billie tailing behind.
