I would give my whole world to spend the night staring out at the gleaming moon with his fingers interlocked with mine curling around each other in the most romantic serpentine manor. The light of the moon crawled slowly across the room as we talked into the night, it wasn't until the cafe staff came up to tell us they were closing that we both rose from our chairs and wandered out into the veraciously bitter cold. Walking hand in hand we made our way down the street toward an unknown destination, his face was glowing in the cold light of the stars it was everything i dreamt of as a child. He stopped walking in the street as the snow collected around his feet, he gazed into my eyes with childlike fascination.
Silence fell upon the air with the only remaining sound being the quiet rush of winter air running through the streets. He looked down at his feet fidgeting uncomfortably, I worried he would freeze if he stayed still too long so i question him.
" hey, are you okay?"
His eyes flashed up to mine, i see adrenaline gather behind his eyes and excitement fizzes through his body.
" hey..do you want to go out again sometime?"
For a moment I didn't believe it, I looked at him before answering.
" yeah i would love that," i followed with a smile of genuine happiness.
We continued to talk and smile as he walked me to my front door, I turned to say goodbye and i was met with his eyes just mere inches from mine. His breath, visible in the cold air, drifted from his mouth as i saw him gathering confidence.
He leaned even closer to me until his lips were touching mine, i held his hand as he kissed me softly, he pulled away leaving a tingling ghost of his lips on mine.
