Rose's p.o.v

I gripped Aidou's hand, my warm palms chilled by the constant cold temperature that his hand gave off. I placed the palm of his hand back on my face to see if his hands would warm up or something. But no the chill coming from his hands continued to seep into my pores.

'Is Aidou?..' I look up at him and stare straight into his aqua blue eyes.

"Umm.." Aidou had an uncomfortable expression.

I released his hand and he let out a sigh of relief but stiffened up as I grasped his face.

"Ow! That hurt!" He complained when I punched his cheeks trying to stretch out his face.

If he is the one from my past why is it I can't remember anything even after seeing his face?

"W-what are you doing?!" Aidou released his face from my grip. His face was red. "K-Kaname-sama asked me to wake you up s-so you better get up now!"

With that Aidou quickly tried to leave but not before he tripped in his rush to get out.

'Is it really Aidou?..' I started at my hands remembering the cold feeling of his palms. His hands were cold but...

I squeezed my hands into fists feeling even more confused.

Aidou's p.o.v

I slammed the door shut behind me. I could feel my heart frantically beat inside my rib cage. My face felt hot and my stomach filled up with butterflies.

'What was that?' I questioned. 'The look on her face..'

I thought back to the deep look in her coal colored eyes. They stared right into mine as if to search for some answers to a question she was trying to solve. Her face was so close to mine! Too close!

'No! Keep it together Hanabusa! I can't let some human get the better of me like that!' I furiously scratch my head with both if my hands.

"Aidou. What are you doing?"

"K-Kain!" I jump up from where I was squatting.

"Something wrong?" He questioned his bored eyes looked at me in question.

"N-no!" I laugh nervously.

"Why's your face red?" He leans in to stare at my red cheeks.

"You're just seeing things!" Again I try to lie, my nervous laughter giving me away.

"What's so funny? Why are you laughing so much?" He quirked an eyebrow a frown on his face.

"Agh! I said it's nothing!" I throw my hands in the air. "Is it ask Aidou a hundred questions day?!" I turn around and stomp downstairs. "The nerve of some people!" I shout my cheeks still red.

"Huh?" Kain stretched the back of his neck confused, watching me stomp away, "Was it something I said..?"

I made it down the stairs where some of the Night class had already gathered ready for classes. My heart still wasn't back to normal. Damn Kain and his questions!

"Ah, Aidou."

"What?!" I whirled around thinking it was Kain again, ready to pester me with more questions.

"K-Kaname-sama! F-Forgive me!.." I hastily bowed deeply embarrassed for raising my voice at Kaname-sama.

"It's alright." He raised his hand. "Did you wake her up?"
