Hannah ran nearly halfway home before she stopped to take a breather. Her parents would be suspicious of her if she came home from school so early, so she decided to take a more scenic route through the woods. Hannah tried to process what just happened with Josh. Why did he take her word over mine? How can Bella be so heartless as to ruin two relationships at once? Hannah wandered further into the woods and allowed the sounds of nature to drown out her thoughts. Let it go, Hannah. Think about now. The sunlight shone through the trees in beams of light on the path in front of her. I should find a little creek. Maybe the water can calm me down. She continued along the natural path in the woods, keeping her eyes peeled for water. It sure is a beautiful day. Hannah's pace began to slow as she started paying more and more attention to the beauty around her. She heard a little rustle in a bush close by. Animals are so cute when they play. Hannah stopped and looked closely in the direction from which the noise came. She saw nothing. As Hannah strode along, she caught a glimpse of water not far off from the trail. She approached the water, and heard the soothing  churning of the water grow louder. Another noise from behind a cluster of trees stopped her yet again. Hannah went over to explore the source of the noise. The little critters are active today. As she peeked behind the trees, a hooded figure cautiously stepped toward Hannah's back. Hannah felt the familiar sensation of someone looking at her. She whipped around, expecting no one, but instead, she found a sharp pain in the left side of her chest, unlike anything she had felt before. When she looked down, only the handle of a knife was visible. Hannah had been stabbed in the heart. She fell to the ground, her hair falling around her like a purple halo. The robed figure stood mercilessly over Hannah watching her die. It would wait until she was completely gone to do the clean up. Hannah lay on the forest floor breathing as best she could. As she breathed her last breath, she thought of Josh, and how his wish would soon be granted. And with that bitter thought, a tear rolled down her cheek, and her life ended. Hannah's features relaxed, and she was at peace. The robed figure carried Hannah to the creek and washed her body with the murder weapon. It then shoved her into the bag It brought along. It's business was done, and Hannah was dead. It took the body with them, and Hannah and the person left the creek behind along with the spot in the woods neither of them would ever forget.
