Natsumi P.O.V

"HEY GIVE IT BACK!" I yelled at the she-devil known as mirajane. Just because im small doesn't mean she can be mean!

"No way brat im not just gonna hand it over to ya!" She said. She then smirked and rose my scarf high in the air away from my reach.

"If you want it you have to try and take it from me" she said smirking, knowing i wont be able to.

This is my 2nd day in the guild. Its been 2 weeks since my dad igneel dissapeared. He gave me the scarf which is the only thing i have left of him besides all my memories.

I jumped as high as I possibly could to get it but I still wasn't able to. Mira's laughter echoed throughout the guild hall. No one bothered to help.

Tears of frustration were threatening to spill out. "Awww is little attention seeker over here gonna cry?" She said with a fake sad voice.

"IM NOT AN ATTENTION SEEKER! IGNEEL IS MY DAD!!!! GIVE ME BACK MY SCARF!" I yelled at her.

"MIRA!" Master yelled coming down the stairs. "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF! TREAT NATSUMI WITH RESPECT!" Master exclaimed.

His arm grew huge, yanking the scarf out of mira's hands and handing it to me. I didn't even care master called me natsumi instead of natsu! I got my scarf back!

I immediately grinned as i put it on covering my scar i got on the back of my neck from when a dark guild tried to capture me but luckily igneel came.

"Thanks gramps!" I exclaimed happily. He smiled.

"Anytime my child" he said. Mira rolled her eyes.

I felt eyes on me. I turned around and saw a blonde haired boy with a lightning shaped scar staring at me a couple yards away.

"What are you staring at?" I asked him. "Is your dad really the fire dragon king?" He asked. I nodded. He perked up a little. "Wait really??" He exclaimed. "Yup! I wouldn't lie about that!" I exclaimed.

"Really laxus? Hahaha! You actually believe this brat!" Mira exclaimed to laxus while laughing.

"w-what?? n-no! d-dont be ridiculous i'd NEVER believe something as stupid as that!" Laxus exclaimed. I looked down at my small feet. Does no one actually believe me?

"I knew you wouldn't" mira said smiling with heart eyes. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the guild. Tears filled my eyes. Igneel where are you.. why did you have to leave?

"H-HEY!" Someone yelled from behind me. I was a good distance away from the guild. I turned around and saw laxus. "What do YOU want!" I said glaring.

"I- um.. wanted to walk with you! Its not safe for a girl to walk home alone.." he said looking down. "What are you trying to say? Girls are weak? For your information i dont need a boy to walk me home! Im perfectly capable of taking care of myself!" I stated proudly.

"But still.. can i?" He asked. "No" i said turning back around and walking who knows where. He still fallowed me. "I said no!" I exclaimed. He ignored me and continued walking beside me.

I eventually gave in and let him walk beside me. We walked into the forest. Suddenly something landed on laxus's face. "Are you ok??" I asked frantically helping him up with my tiny arms.

He nodded his head. We looked down to see what fell on him and saw a blue and white egg. "A dragons egg!" I exclaimed happily picking it up gently.

"What do we do with it..?" Laxus asked. "We take care of it until it hatches!" I exclaimed smiling. Soon he smiled as well. "o-ok!"
