Help was all she needed at the moment... All she wanted was help, to get away from the torture and evil. All she hears is hurtful words and all she feels is pain, inside and out. Her screams were horrifying to listen to, but no one cared. Not here in New York... Her screams were nothing but whispers to the people of New York. Soon her screams turned into loud sobs, then it was silent. Now all that was heard was the sound of panting, but not from her... It was from the person she thought she could call a father, but no... He was a monster...

Beating was all he did, anger was all he felt, his soul was full of sadness and true hatred. He needed to let his anger out... But how? Well his solution was simple... Take it out on the most innocent person in the world... His daughter Rose. He hurt her physically and emotionally, leaving scars behind... Some that would stay forever, but others that could be let go of, just not easily....

A year ago, a young girl and her mother was at the park. The little girl was 5 at the time and had the most energy, any parent has ever seen. She loved to have fun and play with her mom, but her mom was ill... she had an illness that couldn't be fixed. The father nor the daughter knew of this saddening news.

As was said, the park was not that busy today. Not many people were around, only the people who had on the suits quickly walked by, or the athletic civilians running around or on bicycles.  The little girl was on the playground, going down the slides and and laughing on the monkey bars. Her mother sat aside on the bench, watching her little girl play.

She had a smile on her face as she watched her young daughter play, while her husband attended his job. As she watched her daughter, she felt pain in her chest. Though she let it go and continued watching and smiling.

"Mommy watch this!"

The young girl said, and jumped down from semi tall step. The little girl lands on her feet.

"Good job Rose!"

Her mother cheers, as young Rose smiles and runs up to her.

"Mommy are you ok?"

Rose asks as she sees her mother clenching her chest. Her mother smiled...

"Yes dear... now go play... we need to be heading home soon..."

Rose nods and goes to the swings, but just as she is about to start swinging she glances at her mother who is bent over grunting in pain.

"MOMMA!"

Rose runs to her mother and stands beside her, soon panicking and tears forming. Soon a crowd forms around the young girl and mother, but they focused on taking videos and pictures.

"Help please!"

Rose pleaded, but the crowd of people still did what they felt was ok, which was NOT ok... Soon a man came up and had already called 911. He walks up to Rose's mother as an elderly women came over. Rose recognized her, she always fed the birds during this time of day, and was also a neighbor. The elderly women, known as Renae, took Rose's hand.

"Your mother will be alright... don't cry young one..."

Rose nodded, but the tears kept coming. Her mother on the ground, not moving a muscle. Soon sirens were heard and shouts of orders were taken out on the crowd. The elderly women held onto Rose, and watched along with Rose as the paramedics helped her fallen mother...

Soon a stretcher came out and men hauled her mother on it.

"MOMMA!!"

Rose shouted and tried running towards her mother, but was held back by the elderly women.

"Don't worry. She will be alright, now please come with me... We will have to give your father a call..."

The elderly women took Rose to her place and gave her some food, while telling her everything would be alright. Rose never talked, and didn't eat anything the elderly women offered her...

Once her father got the news he rushed to the emergency room... but never got the good news he hoped to here. Am hour later he came home and locked up his young daughter. He took her home and he had to share the news of course...

"Rose... Something has happened as you already know..."

He started off, but Rose spoke.

"Were is momma?"

She asked tears coming down, her father held her close and shushed her gently.

"Rose... Momma went to a happy place... She will not be with us anymore but she can still see us and we can still talk to her..."

Rose cried and hugged her father, but here is one thing she didn't know...

That was the last hug she would ever get from her father.....
