Ch. 1

Momoko's P.O.V.
So Summer is over and you know what that means. Yep that's right I have to go back to school. I had the most boring Summer ever. Although I am happy to go back to school because I get to see my best friend Chase Suno. Chase and I have been friends since pre-school.
I know it doesn't seem like a lot of time, but we are both in the 10th grade now. Normally during the summer I would call and talk to Chase or go over to his house to hang out with him, Bren, and Jinja. Although something seemed wrong this summer. I could never get ahold of them when I called. Normally when I called Chase after the first two rings he would normally answer.
I kept thinking I did something wrong, but I don't know what. I finally arrived at school and went to the normal spot where we would meet up in the courtyard to meet Chase. You see I'm 5'5" so I'm kind of average height while Chase is 5'8" So when people are in front of me it's hard to see him. I normally look for his bright blue and white jacket. Soon. I see his sleeve.
"Chase! Wait a sec," I exclaim while running over to him. I see him jump out of suprise when I called his name. He turns around and the first thing I see is his beautiful turquoise eyes. Then, I see A smile light up his face when he sees me.
I see Bren and Jinja behind him and they both start smiling as well. "Yo Momoko how ya' been," He asks as I finally reach him. "Good," I say as we high-five each other. "So what did you do this summer you kind of never answered my calls and we didn't get to hang out. I thought you were like mad at me," I said while looking at him.
"Haha yea well I had a great summer, and no I'm not mad at you I just had a lot of things going on that's all sorry." He said while scratching his cheek with his finger. "It's ok mind telling me what you did this summer?" I asked while tilting my head to the side. "Yea I'll tell you at lunch," He said.
"Ok," I said. The bell rang for school to start. 'Well come on we better get to homeroom." He said as he went into the building. "Chase wait up your legs are longer than mine," I said laughing and trying to catch up to him, and heard him laugh himself.
Third person's P.O.V.
As Momoko and Chase walked into the school building Jinja and Bren stayed back a little. "They're going to end up getting together." Jinja said with her hands on her hips. "True that," Bren said. They both smiled and walked into class.
