Ch. 2

This will be in Chase's P.O.V. about the first chapter 

Chase's P.O.V.

I woke up this morning and got dressed in my normal clothes. I went downstairs and make some toast and grab some orange juice. Once done I set the dishes in the sink then grabbed my bag and went out the door while locking it behind me. On the walk to school I kept thinking about this summer and how i was going to tell Momoko about it. I really wish I could have brought her with me, but I couldn't risk her safety because I wanted to protect her.

As I got closer to school I wondered how Momoko was doing. How her summer went or if she was mad at me for not talking to her at all. "Chase!!" I heard someone scream my name. I turn to see Bren and Jinja running towards me. "Hey guys," I said waving my hand.

"Hey Chase you ok man," Bren asked me. "Yea I'm fine just thinking about what has happened so far," I said while scratching my head. "Well I think everything will be ok," Jinja said, " Yea you're right," I said while looking down at my feet. We finally arrived at school and stood at our normal spot in the courtyard by the tree. "Chase are you sure you're ok?" Jinja asked.

"Well I've just been thinking about stuff," I said looking at them. "About what kind of stuff man," Bren inquired. " Well.. what about Momoko ; I mean she has no idea about what happened ," I said catching my breath then continued on ", I mean I feel like we left her out ,but I'm afraid to let her know cause it might put her in danger." I finished. 'Truthfully I want her to know about lock and all the Monsuno, but with all the evil core people; I want to keep her out of danger because I care about her we are best friends'

"Well I see what you're saying Chase, but it's either we tell her and she'll be ok with it," Jinja started ",or she finds out on herself and she might be mad," Bren finishes. "I don't know guys maybe I should wait to tell her I don't know," I exasperated. There was a short moment of silence before we heard someone scream, "Chase! Hey Chase!" I jumped slightly and turned around and saw it was Momoko. As soon as I saw her I smiled. 'Well I should probably tell her today that way she wont be mad at me if she finds out herself,' I thought.

When she got to me I said "Yo' Momoko how ya' been." I said I also gave her a high-five when she was close enough. I couldn't help but smile when I saw her. With her beautiful hair and dazzling eyes.....wait what am I saying this is my best friend I'm talking about. "Good," she said while I high-fived her.," So what did you do this summer you kind of never answered my calls and we didn't get to hang out. I thought you were like mad at me," she said.

'Aw man I never meant to make her think I was mad at her all I want to do is protect her from this.' I thought but then I told her, "Haha yea well I had a great summer, and no I'm not mad at you, just had a lot things going on that's all." I said and scratched my cheek with my finger. I looked at her and couldn't help thinking she looked beautiful.

"It's alright mind telling me what you did this summer?" she asked. ' and there it is should I really tell her because I don't her in harms way I want to protect her but I guess it would e better for to hear it from me than some stranger,' I thought. "Yea I'll tell you at lunch." I said.

"Ok," she said. Then the bell rang and we headed to the entrance. "Well come we better get to homeroom," I said and started walking. I guess I got a little farther than I meant to because next thing I know I hear "Chase wait up your legs are longer than mine," Momoko said while laughing. When I heard her laugh I couldn't help but smile. she always knows how to make me feel better even if she doesn't know I'm upset.
