I fell to my knees.Blood covering my face and shirt.I stared at the mans bloody corspe.The gun still clutched tightly between my fingers.
I tried to stand up but my knees felt weak.Hands trembling I searched the dead mans pockets.Desperately trying to find a phone.My bloody hands slid over his wallet and keys.I hastily threw them aside searching his pant pockets feeling a long thin metal object.
I quickly pulled it out revealing a black iphone.I quickly turned it on luckily discovering that he did not have a password.I slid it open only to feel sick as I saw what he had as his background.
The light of the moon shone across my face. My chest was half exposed and his hand was on my chest. Cole slept beside me his back against me.
Cole....
I looked over at Cole who lay unconscious on the ground.
I swallowed my tears and began to dial the numbers onto the keypad.
I breathed in slowly as it rang trying my hardest not to burst into tears.
"911 what's your emergency?"
"My boyfriends been stabbed I need help!, he won't stop bleeding and he looks pale and, and i-i-"
"Okay sir calm down"
"Did you stab your boyfriend?"
"No! I didn't the man who kidnapped me did!"
"Where is he now?"
Trembling i looked over at the mans bloody corpse.
My mouth went dry and i struggled to speak.
"I-i.....killed him"
"Was it In self defense sir?"
"Yes"
"do you know where you are?"
"I have no fucking idea!"
"Okay sir please calm down can you describe your surroundings?"
"I don't know I'm in some old building"
"Alright sir can you go outside and find a street name of any kind sir?"
"Yes I think so....."
I detached my self from his phone and ran outside, almost tripping over my own feet.
I looked around,searching for any sign.
I quickly found one.
Its green and white lettered metal sign spelled out EMBER ST.
I quickly lifted the phone onto my ear.
"EMBER ST. ITS EMBER ST. NOW SEND THE DAM AMBULANCE OVER!"
"Sir calm down, they're on their way"
I hung up and ran back into the old building falling roughly onto my knees beside cole.
I took his hand in between mine rubbing it softly.
Cole...
"Their coming, please cole just hold on...."
I ran a hand through his thick black hair.I could feel my hot wet tears stream across my cheeks and splash onto Coles face.
"It's okay baby they're almost here....they're almost here"
I laid my head on his chest.
Ignoring the sticky wet blood that smudged my face.
The sirens could be heard in the distance. Getting louder by the second.
"Their coming...hold on cole....hold on"
I know I know I took forever.
I'm so terrible.
