Chapter Three: The hot and the make over

Zack was walking to me. As he made his way to me I started to get nervous. He walked over to me and said " Hey, hey, hey. Are you okay? I see you a lot of times, you have anxiety. I know because I used to have them." I stuttered "I-I-I, well um... Yeah. You used to ha anxiety attacks?" Zack chuckled, and said " Yeah I did. Don't sound so shocked. Don't let Zoe get to you, she's just jealous." I sat there my face stained and a shocked expression stuck on my face. I thought it was going to stay that way forever. "Wait, how did you know it was Zoe this time? And her jealous. I don't think so." He had a confused look on his face, "You didn't stutter." He stated with an astonished look on his face. I smiled and said,"Maybe I already got used to you. I don't know I feel safer around you."

Zack moved a piece of my hair from my face. My sleeves had rolled up and you can see my bare arms, I tried to roll them back down but Zack had already seen, he sighed and looked into my eyes. "Please don't cut anymore, it will not solve anything. Promise me that you won't cut anymore, please?" He asked. I smirked and said "I thought you were the 'bad boy'  of this school." He laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked confused. He started laughing harder. What is wrong with this boy? I asked to myself. He looked me dead in the eye. His dirty blonde hair and his ocean blue eyes made me melt as his eyes pierced into mine.

God why was he so hot. Suddenly, he got up and held a hand out to help me up. I cautiously took his hand as he lifted me up.  "Next time don't think out loud, but you're pretty hot too." His statement made me blush the Zackery Edwards said I Brooke Sanchez was hot. I thought that of what Zack had called me for the rest of the day. Am I really hot?

When I got home I went straight to where my mom was. "Hey mom may I talk to you?" I bit my lip as I asked the question that I've been wanting to ask since last year, I've been to nervous about it to ask her. "Yes sweetie, what's up?" She asked in her motherly tone "I was wondering if I can get a make over. Like dye my hair, get a new style of clothes and some make up?" I asked way to nervously, but at least I did not stutter. She looked at me and said "Consider this a gift for working hard at school." "Really?! Thanks mom!" I didn't need someone to take me because the store is right close by it would be a five minute walk. As I'm walking out of the door I shout "I'll be back at eight mom!" It's five now.
