Forbidden Akashi x Reader

Everywhere you go, you're reminded of him. Sometimes your friends accidentally mention his name in midst of conversations and it seems no matter what they do they can't get that sullen look off your worn out face. You tried not to think about him but it backfires and all you think about is the guy you loved, no still love, Akashi Seijuuro. You didn't wanna know who he was now taking out on lush, romantic dates, or whether he was loving and treating the new lucky girl the way he used to love and treat you, every night you'd go to sleep thinking about those exact things. "Goddammit Akashi, just leave me alone!" You'd think every night. 

"(y/n)... we need to talk" he said in his serious tone. He never speaks to you like this. You nervously gulped and nodded. "Is something wrong?" He couldn't seem to meet your gaze. "My father has... discovered our relationship" You two had hidden your relationship from his father because he and you feared that his strict father won't approve. Your biggest fear was exactly this. "But...How?" "I think some outsider somehow told him of our relationship. It could have been anyone, since everyone knew about us except for my father." "What does this mean? Are you going to leave me because of this?" He briefly looked down and up again to meet your gaze. "I'm afraid so. We don't really have a choice anymore..." Your eyes got teary. "B-but, can't we just be even more secretive this time? You can't just leave me!" "We can't (y/n), father has arranged a fiance for me. He did it right after finding out about us." Shock was all you could feel at the moment. A fiance? This was too much, his dad is just too cruel. "What? But you haven't even graduated high school yet! Why does he hate me so much?" "He doesn't know you, (y/n).." "So why doesn't he just try to get to know me!" "That's the problem. If he doesn't know you beforehand, he will not approve. You'd have to be some wealthy heir to a business corporation for my father to know you... I'm sorry" "Are... you serious right now? So we have no choice but to part? Are you just going to give up on me?" He looked down, beginning to turn around. "It was about time anyway, (y/n)... I was planning to leave you a while ago" Nothing had shattered your heart this much before, is he telling the truth? Why won't he look at you? "W-what... That's how you feel about me? Are you being honest right now?" "I'm serious. It's over. He turned around to show his personality changed, one eye glowed yellow shocking you to the core. He's gone from you, for good. With that, he walked away, leaving you shocked and helpless.

Akashi's P.O.V

I'm not dating anyone, probably because for some reason, that same girl, (y/n), keeps appearing in my mind. I can't seem to forget anything from the very first day we parted. Even though I tried so hard. My father introduced my fiance to me and I feel nothing for her. Sometimes I try to imagine (y/n) in her place, which makes me feel better, but I can't go on like this. I've gotta forget about her but I just can't. The things I said to her the day we parted keeps haunting me. "I was planning to leave you a while ago" "I'm serious, it's over". I didn't mean anything I said at all. I just wanted her to feel it wasn't a good idea to cling to me any longer, and for me to not crave her anymore, but it took the opposite effect, she probably hates me now. She's probably forgotten all about me by now. "(y/n)... leave my mind alone, please"
