Why did you save me?

Chapter 1

Ok so first off, Hello! This is my first time writing so I'm sorry if it isn't good! :/ I don't really know how to start it so it might be a little slow but it will get better!

"And Niall, do you take Norah to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do"
"Then you may kiss the bride!"
That's how my new life began with the love of my life and I'm pleased to say that we are still married to this day.
He saved my life and I guess that is where this story begins.

I was nineteen and my dad had finally made enough money to bring our whole family of four on a vacation to a shark siting spot. There was my mom, dad, brother Kian and me. I was the oldest out of the kids.
It was a three day trip so we went out every day to try and see a shark.
When I was little, I was a bit of a tom boy and loved sharks. I would watch shark week every year on Animal planet. He had always promised me that we would go and see sharks someday.
I have sort of grown out of that phase but sharks still amaze me. Two days had passed and a hadn't seen a single shark.
It was the last day and I was kinda losing hope but then someone yelled. I looked over and saw a huge Great White shark jump out of the water, looking for food.
As I looked over, I happened to pouring my self a glass of lemonade. When I looked, the glass started to overflow and dribbled on the floor. I sort of forgot to clean it up cause I'm just that lazy.
I ran down to the observation deck to try and get a better look and slipped on the wet floor from where my drink had spilled and landed not on the ground, but in the ocean next to a hungry shark. I yelped in pain as more than 60 teeth sunk into my flesh.
All I heard was the words "Oh my god" and blacked out.
