Archie was frozen in place. The man he had hunted down to find the boy would now decide Archie's fate. The man was holding a gun, pointing it at the once brave dog. The was nothing keeping Archie positive now. Fear had replaced every brave bone in his body.

Sarah Stood behind the man, just as scared as Archie. He could tell she was sorry for her owner's return to the area. Archie gave her a look meaning every thing was fine now that the boy was safe, that was their main goal. Sarah's tail wagged, but only a little.

It seemed like time had froze, until things started up again, and they stared fast. The man started coming closer to Archie. He started to run for the wood. The man followed behind, running fast. Sarah came after them, too. All three were running, darting around trees.

Then, Archie was cornered. The man came over to him and lifted up the gun. Sarah came out of the trees just in time to hear a bang. The gun had gone off. The bullet had flown through the air... it had hit it's target. Archie was shot, and dead.

The man panted, Sarah yelped, And Archie lay there... lifeless.
