IT wakes me up in the morning with a pulsating feeling in my head
Making me cover my head with the blankets in frustration
Pounding, Pounding

Never going away
Always waiting there pushing from the inside at my eyeballs

IT welcomes the light
Banging on my brain telling me to get somewhere dark
Running, Hidding

Noise is just the same
Traveling through my ears into it making IT stronger by the second

IT laughs at all the pills, shots, and injections doctors throw at IT

"They don't work," IT yells from behind its indestructible shield of anxiety
IT likes Anxiety
Anxiety is the fuel added to the irons in the fire
Anxiety helps IT grow stronger with every stressful thought

IT makes me different
Causing me to not be a normal teenager
To not go to school everyday or attend clubs
To not make friends in my classes

IT controls my life
IT is migraines
