Only In My Dreams (True Blood Fan Fiction Bill&Sookie)

Bills' P.O.V.

          Today was the day, the day I would marry my one true love after 148 years after being turned I finally met the woman I was going to marry 5 years ago when I returned to Bon temps. I remember the day just as it was yesterday... It was 2 days after I settled into my old Compton house, I was now a mainstreamer and only drank Tru Blood. But I didn't have any in my fridge yet so I fed on my way to my kinda new house. On my way there I passed a bar named Merlott's Bar and Grill. I needed a Tru Blood badly without one I’d probably go insane but I would be able to manage and control my hunger. I walked out of my house and the weather as I suspected would be warm if I could feel the warmth on my skin. It was mid-August and I had walked to Merlott’s when I entered I smelled… well I smelled her, her sweet smell of blood was coursing through my body uncontrollably and it didn’t help anymore when she stared at me in shock. Her beauty was unbelievable, she was tan and had blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail. I swear if I had a heart beat it would have stopped when she made her way toward me. She approached my table rather excited and  asked what she could get for me. I asked if they had any of that synthetic bottled blood and she told me that the owner Sam had to get rid of it because it went bad.  I wanted to laugh at the way she was reacting toward me. I told her that I would have a glass of wine just so I could stay for her. But to be honest it was my mission from the Queen to keep her safe so at that time I was only taking orders and I wasn’t in love with her yet… mind you I said yet.

Sookies’ P.O.V.

         I was getting ready for my wedding today. It is the happiest day of my life even though many think I’m insane for marrying a vampire. Louisiana finally passed the marriage about a year ago and there has only been one mixed marriage so far. They have now invented new a new type of body wash and sunscreen for vamps that allow them to walk in the sun. The world was so adapt now it was crazy how the government invents all these crazy things. Life has been so much easier for Bill and I now since he could come out during the day but only for a bit before the body wash or the sunscreen which ever wore off.  It was only affective for about three hours before it would wear off. I can’t believe how much has changed since I met Bill 5 years ago to be exact tomorrow would not only be our first day of the Honeymoon it would be 5 years to the date we… well we sealed the deal. I could never forget such a hectic and tragic day but an amazing night. After I told off everyone who came to grams funeral all I wished and wanted for Bill to be their but he was sleeping. I needed him more than ever in that moment but I knew he would be there that night to comfort me and that he did in more ways than one. I wish I could say I had that night all planned out that I would run to him and give myself up like I did but I didn’t. I guess you can say it just kind of happened and I’m so grateful it did. I remember running straight into his arms kissing him ever-so-deeply but with pure love and passion. He gave it right back and in that moment I could actually say that I felt his love for me… well what I thought was love.

Bills’ P.O.V.

        I sat there with Jason, Sam, Alcide, and yes even Eric. My four groomsmen and let me tell you they weren’t that good but hey they were happy for Sookie and I.  Eric was a little irritated when he found out and so was Alcide but they were expecting it to happen. Jason, Sam, and Alcide had a beer while Eric and I had a Tru Blood. They had taken me out to a Strip club for my Bachelor party to be honest I wasn’t really that thrilled at all because all I could think about was Sookie and I could care less about some stripper giving me a lap dance. At this point I just wish I could go home with her crawl in bed and practice for our honeymoon. “Bill…BILL!.” I snapped out of my daze to Eric calling my name. “Yeah..uh..what.” “Are you alright… you don’t seem all here.” “Well it’s because I’m not actually I don’t even want to be here.” “What how could you say that this is amazing what’s better than woman giving you lap dances.” “Well it’s different for you Eric you don’t know what love is like I do. You know how committed I am to Sookie.” “Oh yes that’s right well think about how much she’s having at her bachelorette party with a bunch of men seducing her with Tara, Arlene, Pam,  Holly, and Jessica” “Yeah I’d rather not.” A rage of jealousy shot through me like a adrenaline shot. I tried not to think about that but I couldn’t help myself thankfully Sookie told me where they were throwing her Bachelorette party and I gave a hidden grin. “Come on boys I have a plan.” They all looked at me like I was insane. “Just trust me, Jason do you still have your kinky selection of costumes?” “Hey! They are private how do you…. Jessica! Um yes I do actually why?” “Okay good let’s go boy’s we are about to go raid a party.” They all laughed and smiled standing up and throwing their money on the table. We all left and went to Jason’s house and got changed Eric dressed up as a cop with me, as Alcide dressed up as a firefighter, Sam dressed up as a sexy doctor and Jason dressed up as a undercover agent.  We all gathered into the limo and headed to where they were throwing their party. When we arrived we saw all the ‘strippers’ dressed up outside the place. “Hello fellas I think we can handle it from here plus I think they would rather see us then you.” I gave them each a fifty and the Limo and we all headed inside to surprise the woman.

Sookies’ P.O.V.

          “When are the strippers getting here they are 5 minutes late!” Jessica said and then looked at me. “This is supposed to be Sookies last night as a unmarried woman the least they could do is show up early.” I laughed and shook my head, “It’s okay Jess I’m actually quite happy the way it is right now with just my bridesmaids.” I gave her a reassuring smile but on the inside I really wished I could get Bill take him home and just be with him till Mid-night at least then he would have to go, because as they say it’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. I honestly didn’t believe in that shit but he did so I just went along with it. “Tara now I’m starting to get antsy where the hell are your damn strippers you ordered at.” She looked at me and shrugged. “Your guess is as good as mine Sook.” I rolled my eyes and then heard a loud bang the door fell to the ground and my mouth dropped then turned into a huge smile seeing Bill and his groomsmen dressed up. He grinned and pointed at me beckoning me to come over to him. My bridesmaids were laughing and cheering when they all came flooding into the room with us. I walked over to Bill and kissed him deeply. “Hello honey what are you doing?” “I honestly don’t think I could go another second in that strip club without seeing you sweetheart, I missed my beautiful fiancé." My face lit up and I could feel it heat up aswell. “Sookie are you blushing… I haven’t seen you blush in quite some time now.” He kissed me again and I jumped up onto his waist wrapping my arms and legs around him. “Please… please I beg of you take me home and let them have their fun.” “My pleasure, but wait I gave the strippers my limo.” “Don’t worry mines out back now lets go!” He ginned and carried me over the broken door and out into the hallway then out into the warm Louisiana air. He placed me in the limo and I put up the privacy screen and waited for him to get in. When he sat down and shut the door I climbed up onto his lap and started kissing him I made my way from his lips, then to his earlobe, to his neck, then back to his lips again. I forced my tongue into his mouth and teased mine with his, untill his fangs were out. I brushed my tongue over them then pulled away. “Practice session or should we wait till we are home?” He smiled and kissed me forcefully and whispered. “Practice session right here right now.”

Bills’ P.O.V.

            I laid bock on our bed and panted heavily and a smile spread across my face. I looked over at Sookie and she was staring at me with just as big of a smile as myself. She leaned over and put her head on my chest and yawned. “Go to bed sweetie we’ve had enough practice, and you need your beauty sleep.” “I know, I know it’s just that I don’t want you to go.” “Well I must go actually… it’s Eleven Forty-Five that gives me fifteen minutes to escape.” “Why do you follow those crazy rules! No more bad luck can come to up more than we’ve already had in our life.” I traced my fingers over her temple and through her hair. “I guess you’re right but it’s my tradition… although my tradition never said I couldn’t talk to you  over the phone.” She sighed and rolled her eyes’. “It’s not the same Bill.” “I know but at least I can listen to you fall asleep that’s still something isn’t it?” I stood up and grabbed my shirt off the floor and put it on then put back on my pants leaned down and kissed her forehead. “I’ll see you in less than Twenty-Four hours my love get some rest. I’ll try and do the same good night.” I started to walk away when I heard her get out of the bed and jump on my back. “Goodnight my king I love you.” She gave me a kiss and I smiled. “You know I hate when you call me king. I may be king of Louisiana of the vampires but not to you. To you I’m just Bill… Bill Compton your soon… very soon husband now get back in bed and go to sleep I will see you tomorrow.” “Okay fine Bill Compton my very soon to be husband.” “I love you Sookie.” And just like that I left her house with no problem and went back home to get a shower.
