Chapter One

Cameron's POV:

"Hello, Ms. Abigail," our butler, Mason, said opening the door for Abby aka the sister of the girl of my dreams aka my brother's best friend.  Her sister was so...there's no words to describe her. She's pure perfectness. She has the prettiest smiles and eyes. Her eyes are like my brothers, a mix of blue and green together, but Meredith made them look way better. She wasn't short and she wasn't short either; I guess you can say she was about 5'3 or something while I was 5'9.

"Hey Cameron," Abby said, sitting down next to me and also breaking me from me thoughts.

"Hey Abby, excited for the party tomorrow," I said raising an eyebrow. I knew Abby was no way near excited for tomorrow. Parties weren't her thing, which is weird because because she's coming closer to her few last teenage years and she should live them to the fullest.

"Not one bit," she said with a sigh following her words.

"Too bad you have to go," I said laughing silently, hoping she wouldn't hear me.

"Yeah, don't remind me," she said causing me to laugh harder. "Ima go call your brother," she said after I calmed down with my laugh. I just nodded and turned back to the TV.

Once again, I felt weight being added to the spot next to me who goes by the name Abigail. "Where are you going tomorrow? Since Dev is having a party," she said.

"I don't know, all my friends are busy, and I clearly can't stay here, I don't. I think I might go to the arcade," I stated, shrugging.

"By yourself?"

"By myself," I repeated.

"Do you want to go with my sister?" she said, earning my full attention to her.

"I-I don't like her," I stuttered, looking away. Screwed. I'm screwed. I really have a crush on her, but was I ready to go on a date?

"Cam, you're stuttering. You like her; I don't have a problem with that. If you break her heart, then that's a problem."

"But she probably doesn't like me back," I sighed. Here I was getting my hopes high, when I don't even know if she liked me back or not.

"She talks about you all the time, 'He has these gorgeous green eyes that are to die for. And his smile, that little smirk he does, he's pure perfectness,' and she doesn't like you," she said mocking her sister while rolling her eyes. On the outside I had a huge smile on my face, but on the inside I was...I can't explain it. I just felt like a little boy winning his first goldfish.

"She talks about me? She likes me, she actually likes me. Can you ask her?"

"Yes, she does, and of course,"

"Thank you," I had basically got a date with possibly the prettiest girl on this earth.

"No problem. Now I have to go, but I'll tell her when I get home."

"Bye."

"Bye kiddo," and with that she exited the room.

Meredith's POV:

I got back from Madison's house 2 hours ago, and I was bored. Completely and utterly bored. I was deciding on whether to watch TV or not. I finally decided on watching TV and settled on Awkward, my all-time favorite show. After 30 minutes, when the show had ended, I decided to go up to my room. I turned off the TV and walked up the stairs to my room.

My room had white walls, the usual. On one wall I had my bed in the center with a quote on top, 'I can't sleep, but I sure can dream.' I also it embroidered with lights - I just liked the look of it. On the right corner of the wall I had my white desk placed diagonally. On top center of my desk was my Mac Book, and on one corner I had a stack of my favorite books including The Fault In Our Stars, Eleanor and Park, Perks of Being a Wallflower and more. On the other corner I had a pencil cup filled with markers, pens, color pencils, an eraser, two pencils - one being a mechanical pencil. The top of the desk was clear, so it was basically made out of glass. I could only store my stuff on the right side of the desk, so I kept paper - loose leaf and white - some extra erasers, extra markers - basically any materials I could use to draw. On the left side of the wall was where I hung my guitar.

On the other wall I had my closet and bathroom. And on the other wall it was used of windows. Pure windows. There were two floor to ceiling windows on the right and left side and in the middle it had the same window expect this one had a window seat thing. On the other wall I had my TV and on one side of it I had stacks of CDs mounted. That wall was also where I kept my posters. I had my posters on the right side where my door was. I almost had enough posters to cover the wall. On the other half I had my pictures in the shape of a heart. It was almost complete. I just needed about 3 more pictures to complete the top.

I walked over to my desk and worked on the letter that I've been working on for two weeks now. It was a letter on how I felt about Cameron. Cameron was the definition of what I was looking for. He was funny, charming, smart, sweet, he was many things. And those things made me love him every step of the way. Cameron was almost the most popular boy in our school next to Carter Black. You would expect them to be the best of friends. But they're not. They hate each other. Carter's your typical popular boy. He gets all the girls, he's a player, he breaks their hearts, and does he care. No. Why? Because he's like that. But Cameron's the complete opposite. And that's why I like him.

I sat down on my chair and began to work on the letter.

I heard my sister enter my room, so I quickly, but quietly, covered the letter and pretended I was drawing.

"I have a surprise for you," she said as she entered. I heard the noises of bags that she was trying to hide behind her back, which failed completely. I got up from my chair and ran towards, while, she held the bags out to me.

"Thank you Abby,"

"You're welcome,"

"You truly are the best sister ever,"

"That's not it though,"

I smile spread on my face. "You got me new shoes too? You got me a new CD? What is it?"

"First you need to answer me this question, how would you feel if I got you a date with Cameron?" she said, making my eyes go wide.

"You didn't!" I said, not believing a single word coming from her mouth.

"Oh I did,"

"When? And what am I going to wear? Where is it? What time? Will he like me? He probably doesn't even like me; he's probably being nice to me," I sighed a little too loudly.

"It's tomorrow, first off. Wear something casual because it's going to be at the arcade. You guys are going at 5, and he does like you. Devin told me he talks about you all the time. I swear he said this 'Her eyes are beautiful, her smile, and her voice. She's...breathtaking,' "

I jumped up and down, my happy dance, "He likes me, he actually likes me!"

"I told you,"

"Now what am I going to wear?"
