My name is Theia. I live in Athens with my brother Phoenix. I am 17 years old and my brother is 7. My mother died giving birth to my brother and my dad died in the Trojan war 2 years ago. So I have been watching Phoenix since he was born because dad was in the Trojan war. We live in a small house on the edge of town with my strict aunt and uncle.

They have always been very mean to me and Phoenix. I was working in the fields one day, while Phoenix played a few feet away. When I look up he is gone.

"Phoenix!" I yelled with no response. I get up to go look for him where he was playing. When I got there he wasn't there.

"Phoenix!" I yelled again with no reply. As I was about to move a bright light appeared in front of me. As the light began to disappear the goddess Hera appeared.

"Theia, my child I have taken your brother and put him in Rethymno Greece with Pan. You must travel a long and hard journey to get him back. I will give you a few people to help you on your journey. Your friends Silas and Damara Booras. Good luck child." She said and then she was gone. I was really upset that she had taken my brother away from me. But I had to get him back. So I went to meet Silas and Damara.

As I was walking they I saw them up a head. They both saw me and started running to me.

"Theia!" they both yelled.

"We heard what happen to your brother and we are here to help." Silas said looking determined. Damara nodded her head. Silas was wearing his normal clothes but he had a sword with him today. He is tall and handsome. He had short brown hair and brown eyes like his father. Damara looks a lot like Silas but with long curly hair and bright green eyes like her mother. She was a little shorter than me and she had a bow and arrows in a quiver.

"Okay but we need a plan first." I said smiling at my friends. So we went back to my house and got to work on deciding on what to do.

"I don't know what we should do." Silas said frowning.

"We could just pack food and other things we need." Damara suggested.

"Okay I think we should fine some supplies first." I said determined. "We will need weapons, food, a map, water, rope , and supplies for camping."

So we went and got everything we needed and met back up. When we finally met up it was past 5 o'clock.

"It's going to be dark soon." Silas pointed out.

"Yeah, we should leave tomorrow morning." I said. So we left to go get some sleep.

We met back up the next morning.

"You guys ready?" Damara asked excitedly. Me and silas nodded and we headed on our way.

By the time we had reached the edge of Athens it was about midday. We were at the docks. The dock was damp and foggy. It was very quiet and calm for it being the prime of fishing season.

"No one is here." Silas stated.

"Something feels wrong." Damara stated nervously.

"Yeah it is..." I trailed off.

As we were walking to find our boat we heard something rustling in the one of the boats. We all turned and look to see what it was. We stood there a few seconds holding our breath. No one moved. No one made a sound. Then something slowly raised out of the boat. Since it was dark and foggy we couldn't see what it was. Only a silhouette. But it slowly open it eyes... Or eye for this matter we could see it was a cyclopes. It stepped closer to us and out of the fog with a fish head in it's big hand.
