She turned around and lunged for my flesh. I screamed, and Bertholdt happened to be walking in when she attacked. He pushed her backwards and she bit a chunk off his shoulder. I grabbed the fireplace stick and shoved it through her skull. Everyone rushed upstairs and saw what had happened. Erwin sighed, and said, "That was my wife, Esme. And the person she ate is our neighbor Sam." "Oh... Erwin I'm so sorry... but do you... mind if I do experiments on her?" Hanji said,  looking at the bite on Bert's shoulder. Erwin nodded. Annie started yelling at me, saying how I was a stupid b*tch. Levi walked out of his corner and said, "Thats enough. Go finish your tantrum else where, unless you want to see us kill and bury him." She stomped off, and Bert nodded for us to do it. Levi rolled his eyes at how long we were taking, and shoved his knife through his skull. "Tch.. easy." Erwin and Reiner buried him in the back, and everyone sat in silence. "Well, were leaving tomorrow. Might as well finish the job, maybe let's stay on the bottom floor while I survey the top?" Erwin said. We all nodded, and he went upstairs with a knife. A few sounds of skin being broken and he came back down. "I have to tell everybody something." He said, and we all snapped our attention to him. "I.... I have a little girl named Emily. She's 6, and she will be going with us. That's why I chose this group. I wanted strong people, that could survive." Everyone's eyes went wide, and Levi just frowned. After we cleared everything out and found a good amount of supplies, we headed to the basement and went to sleep. Emily was already down there, sleeping on a big blanket that was for her and Erwin.
