Chapter 24: Hana

Gray's p.o.v

I grab the groceries from my car, and I walk up the steps of Alex's house. She was at work and asked me to pick up a few things. I slowly open the door with my few fingers that aren't carrying the bags. As I walk in the door, the groceries slip out of my hand.

I kneel down and begin to pick them up when I see a figure standing above me. I look up and just stare.

"Hana..? What are you doing here?" I silently ask.

"Oh well since Chandler was here, he had called me and asked to hang out." She smiled.

"Wh- hat? H-how did he even know it was you?" I asked.

"Oh well I had texted him first silly. I asked if he was ok and he wanted me to stop by."

Hana knelt down and began picking up the groceries. I just stared at her confused.

"Well? Are you just gonna sit there or are you going to help me?" She laughed.

I quirkily pick up the rest of the groceries and put them in the fridge. I walk into the living room to where Chandler sat.

"What the fuck is she doing here?" I hollered.

"Woah dude. Chill. I just wanted to chill. Alright?" He replied.

"Dude what the fuck. You have a girlfriend!"

"Who that Alex chick? Man she's wayyyy outta my league." He laughed.

I ignored him and marched upstairs into the bathroom. The next thing I knew my fist was swelling and cut with blood dripping out of it. I had punched the mirror.

Convo between Alex and Gray*

Gray- hey beautiful, call me when you get the chance ok?

Alex- ok. And Beautiful? Are you ok Gray?

Gray- yea. I'm just trying to keep you in a good mood.

Alex- ☺️ok well I'll call you when I'm on break ok?

Gray- ok. Talk to you soon.

20 minutes had passed until she finally called.

"Hey, are you ok Gray? You don't seem like yourself." She asked.

"Yes of course. I'm fine. Don't plan on driving home tonight. I'm gonna pick you up because Chandler is here. Ok?"

"Wait Chandlers there?! Can you tell him I said hi and I love and miss him please?" She said excitedly.

"I'll deliver the word, but just remember I'm picking you up. Ok?"

"Ok. Bye Gray. I'll see you later." She hung up.

I can't let her come into this house with him here. She'd be heart broken. I marched back downstairs only to see Hana and Chandler making out on the couch.

"Hey you two. Leave. Go to Chandler's and fuck. You don't belong here!" I screamed.

"Yo what the fuck? Who the hell do you think you are?" He jumped up off of the couch.

I didn't say another word. I only slowly raised my hand and pointed a finger towards the front door.

"Out." I stared at him.

They grabbed their stuff and left. I just laid on the couch and stared at the ceiling.

What was I going to do. The love of her life is only a road away, and he's fucking my ex. How was I supposed to tell her. It'd break her heart. It'd kill me to see that happen.

8:20pm

I put on my jacket and shoes and headed out the door to pick up Alex. The drive was long and quiet.

I soon got to her work and parked outside. I walked in to see her grabbing her phone and bag. She looked up at me and ran.

"Woah. Hey there." I laughed as she jumped on top of me.

"Hi." She got off and smiled.

Damn she's beautiful. Shit.. am I in love?
