The officer escorted me to the interrogation room; I sat on the cold metal chair. Above me was a single light, I felt like I was in some action movie, an empty more comfortable looking seat sat before me.

The officer left the room; I took a deep breath in. What do I have to do with a murder? I’ve only met the man twice in my whole life time, and that’s only because my brother works for his company. I sat patiently waiting; I heard the door open and looked back to see it was only the officer that had escorted me in the room. He placed a cup of water in front of me and walked and closed the door behind him. This was a bad sign, why were they giving me water? This made me even more pissed off. This means that they think they are not playing any games, this isn’t a simple “asking a few questions”, also how the hell does he expect me to drink water with my handcuffs still on, idiot.

I stared at the clock long and hard, maybe it’ll make time go by faster. The time went from 2:15 to 2:58 and it felt like a whole day. The detective walked in at exactly 2:59, he adjusted his sleeves, cleared his throat and sat before me placing a file of papers and placed his hands together as if he was about to start praying. I stared at him without blinking, waiting to see what sort of circus act he has planned for the night. I’m sure he spent a lot of time rehearsing.

“Mr. Abbey is it?” he stated in a sarcastic tone. Cleared his throat again, “I’m detective Willow” I stared at him a laughed.

“Alright Mr. Willow let’s cut to the chase what’s this about? I don’t have time for your petty games” he looked up at me and smiled.

“Alright your choice, we have footage of you leaving Mr. Culver’s office about 3 days ago, about an hour before his death. We also found your blood in his office, care to explain?”

I looked at him and smiled, “Detective Willow was it?” I was obviously trying to get on this know-it-all's nerves. He sat back and crossed his arms as if it was going to be a long night.

I looked at him and calmly stated “I have a question, how did I kill someone who got into a car accident?” he leaned forward “We think it’s a part of the plan”

Good thinking I thought to myself. “I was there three days ago, but I went to visit my brother and talk things out with him, we don’t really agree on everything so we threw a couple punches and I was out of there” I said confidently I sat back comfortable as if I just beat someone in poker.

“Your brother wasn’t in the footage Mr. Abbey, it only shows you exiting and entering the building and office” pissed off I got off my chair and whacked my hand against the cup of water aiming it towards the wall like I was some sort of baseball player and my arm was the bat. I looked at him furiously knowing I had been set up and yelled “BULLSHIT!” he smiled at me.

“No actually it’s not, I can show you it right know if you want” he got up and before i had a chance to answer his question, he left he turned towards me and said these words that I will never forget.

“Oh and by the way we have your finger prints on a tire iron, you know, the one that was used to loosen his car tire” he smiled and walked out.

I stood up furiously and started to kick the chairs and knock over the table. What kind of bull shit is this? Who the hell would want to frame me! He walked in and looked around seeing what I’d done. He made a space for an officer that was pushing a TV towards the wall; he nodded to him as a cue to play the tape. I looked at the tape and it shows only me entering and leaving the office. I clenched my fists trying really hard to control my anger.

“Well, care to explain why you’re storming out of his office so angry?” I heard him behind me. I had nothing left to say, what could I say? He approached me slowly
