I was just a normal day for Alya, well it was a normal day until a certain classmate, with headphone hanging around his neck, of hers started shouting out her name as she was walking towards school.
"Alya! Alya! Wait up!" Nino Lahiffe shouted running towards her. She stopped, waiting for him to catch up.
"Alya... I have... a huge scoop... for you... it's about... Marinette and... Adrian," Nino stated in between breaths.
"What about Marinette and Adrian?" she asked trying not to laugh at him.
"Let's get a coffee and talk about it before school," Nino stated, his breathing back to normal.
"Okay," With that said the two walked to the closest cafe which was just at the end of the road a block from the school.
the two sat down with their coffees as Alya started talking,
"Alright, now what's this scoop?" Alya asked taking a sip out of her coffee.
"You know how Adrian and Marinette both seem to disappear at the same time?" Nino asked
"Yeah,"
"Well have noticed that they're always gone at the same time?" Nino asked again, "I have a theory that's going to blow your mind," he said moving closer to Alya.
"I'm listening," Alya said leaning forward interested.
"They're already dating... in secret," Nino outlined his theory.
"What!? why would they?" Alya asked shocked, there's noway her best friend would hide something like this.
"Adrian's Dad of course!" Nino explained
"His Dad?" Alya asked doubtfully, could his Dad really not want his son happy?
"He'd never allow his priced son be with a mere baker's daughter, so they are constrained to meet in secret whenever they can," Nino continued to explain his ridiculous theory to Alya. "Star crossed couple entwined in a tale of forbidden love , so close to each other but never close enough, it makes perfect sense!" Nino told Alya his theory.
"Uh-huh, well I have a different theory," Alya stated
"And what theory is that?" Nino asked, raising his eyebrows wanting to hear her theory.
"Come on I'll tell you on the way to school," Alya stated standing up from the table. Nino followed her example and they walked out of the cafe together.
