Chapter 3

Prim
I grabbed my duffle bag and put it in the car. Dixon came out with Derek and Theo. They walked to the car. I hugged Derek and walked to Theo. I hugged him and got close to his ear.

"Don't let Derek boss you around."

He nodded and I got in the car. Dixon got in and I looked away from him. He was taking me from my pack, forcing me to fall in love with him. He grabbed my hand and I looked at him.

"I hope you know that our pack is wonderful."

I took my hand away from his and looked away. He started to drive away and I felt a tear leave my eye. I leaving my home. Dixon looked at me and wiped a tear away. I looked down instead of at him. He was so sweet but there was a bad feeling that came along with loving him.

"Prim, what's wrong? Please I'm begging you to talk to me."

I looked back out the window. I'm not good at opening up to people. Especially guys, they call you weak.

"Prim? Please. Or at least talk to me. I don't know what about, I just want to hear your sweet voice."

A smile crept on to my face. I knew he wanted to talk.

"What is our pack like?"

He smiled at me talking.

"We have a huge pack. There's an orphanage with the sweetest children you will ever meet. Along with all the houses and my family."

"When will I meet your pack?"

"You will meet my beta and gamma when we get there because that's where they live. There mates are there to."

"How about the house? What does our house look like?"

"The outside is a surprise, but the inside there's the rooms, office, kitchen, dining room, game room, and living room."

"There's a game room. That's awesome."

I turned toward him and we talked about off the wall things. We laughed and then we stopped in front of gates.

"This is the entrance to the pack area, not the woods."

I looked forward and there was a beautiful flower garden. With a water fountain. Past that was the houses. We drove down the road and I saw a humongous house.

"That's our home."

I nodded in awe how beautiful this place was. We stopped and I got out of the car. Dixon got in front of me and held out his hand. I looked up at him doubtfully but his eyes pleaded. I sighed and put my hand in his. Sparks filled my arm. The were nerve racking at first then I got used to it. We took my stuff inside and went to his room first.

We got up there and it was huge. Everything has black covers and the furniture was dark oak. It was very cozy. We dropped my bags and I sat on the bed. It was so comfortable. I laid back and felt the bed dip beside me. I looked over and none other than Dixon.

"Do you want to sleep?"

I nodded and laid up near the pillows. I was picked up in a split second and laid on a familiar sculpted chest.

"Now your on top of me."

I tried to get up but his arms snaked around my waist.

"Except it little mate. Sleep with me."

"Just let me I don't want to sleep on you."

In a split second I was under him. He put his head in the crook of my neck.

"I like this way better."

I did to but I wasn't up for another fight. I tucked my head into his chest as he relaxed. He wasn't heavy at all.

We moved again. I was on top of him again.

"Please don't move lil mate. I like it when I can see your precious face."

I snuggled in his chest. He put one hand around my waist and the other caressing my cheek. I fell asleep instantly.

Dixon
She finally fell asleep when my beta and gamma walked in.

"Dixon there is a rouge attack in the west wing."

"I'll be out in a minute."

They nodded and shut my door.

I shook my mate a bit and she looked up at me.

"I need to go do something, okay."

She propped herself up on her forearms and looked at me.

"Everything okay?"

"There's a rouge attack in the west wing, I have to go."

"We have to go. I'm not letting you do this alone."

She attempted to get up, but I flipped her on her back. I caressed her cheek.

"Your not coming lil mate."

"Dixon don't do this. Let me help."

"I will not let you get hurt Prim."

"Dixon, please let me help."

I nodded and held out my hand. She took it and she stopped me in front the door.

"Thank you."

I smiled at her and Mason, beta, and Corbin, gamma, also had there mates.  We walked out the door and shifted. My mate was a beautiful silver with one black paw. While I was jet black with a silver paw. Weird. We ran through the woods to the fight.

My mate stopped and looked around. We all stopped with her. She smelled the air and growled into the woods. Three rouges appeared. The women stayed back as we took them down. Everyone nodded to Prim in thanks. She stayed in the middle so if she stopped we could help.

She growled out of no where and got in front of us. We all tried to smell in confusion. What was my mate smelling. She turned to me wanting something. She looked back and signed retreat. Everyone. I shook my head and tried to walk past her. She gave a low and powerful growl and I stopped.

I mind linked my pack to retreat and we ran back to the house. My mate and I shifted and got dressed. I was extremely pissed.

"Why the hell did we retreat."

"Hunters."

"What? How did you smell that we were miles away from the fight."

"I was born with heightened everything. More than usual. I can hear things from miles. Smell things far enough to know what my pack is eating right now. Faster than a vampire. Stronger than 10 male werewolves. I'm special that's why I asked to go. I'm not letting our pack get killed by hunters. I will not let anyone suffer the wrath of a hunter like me."

"Lil mate, I had know idea."

I pulled her into a hug and she smiled.

"Question lil mate."

"Mhmm"

"Are you stronger than me?"

She shrugged. I pinned her against the wall and she looked at me.

"Get me off of you if your stronger."

I leaned into her and she looked shocked.

"Really? Is big bad alpha scared his mates stronger than him."

"Never."

He leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"I can make you scared though."

"How's that Dixon?"

I leaned down to eye level and captured her lips on mine. She kissed back and put her arms around my neck. I leaned my body more onto her and smiled against her lips. She put her hands on my chest and pushed. I fell to the ground.

"Yes I am stronger. Happy?"

She looked sad when she realized she was stronger. She walked to the bathroom and locked the door. Damn I'm dumb.
