All Writing is Beautiful

"There is no bad creative writing. Every piece of creative writing can unlock the doors to someone's soul. That is what makes creative writing beautiful." - J.L.

The above quote came from an old teacher of mine. He had the entire class write a poem and turn it in. After he read them, he handed them back, and everyone got an A on their poems. Close to the end of class, I walked to his desk and asked him, "what were you looking for in the poems?" because I wondered why everyone got an A. His response was the quote above, which has been with me ever since. He was wise and a true lover of writing.

Everyone who writes, whether it be poems, stories, songs, or anything, knows your writing is beautiful and yours. Your voice and personality are coming out into a beautiful combination of words that anyone is lucky to read. Unfortunately, not everyone reads another's writing and views it that way, but I hope that after I finish this, more people will realize and start viewing others' writing differently.

Keep writing, and I urge you to share it. You never know if your writing will touch someone in some way unless you let people see it. You can inspire someone to write their own stories. You can help someone who feels like they are alone. Your writing can make a difference in someone's life, but the only way to know is if you post and share it with the world.

You are special because you are you. No one else can be you. No one can write exactly how you write. No one has experienced exactly what you have in the way you have. You have something to bring to the table.

You are special. Your writing is unique, and I look forward to reading any new works I see that appear because of this post. I'm not looking for a lot of views or likes. Instead, I want this message to get out to others. If I can help one person come out of their shell and share their writing, this little Wattpad post was worth it.
