Rae pov

'What?... Where?... How?' I thought groggily before I remembered the events that had transpired the night before.. But that also made me remember the horrors of the hellhole I escaped from. I began breathing heavily as the memories of their screams and the faces that I shall never know haunt me in my mind. I must have begun releasing my night flame as Reborn and Dino-nii came running into my room. "Rae! Are you alright?!" Dino-nii asked me as they calmed me. "H-Hai.. I'm fine Nii-chan, Reborn. I just was remembering my past." I said smiling with tears in my eyes that I didn't know were there until Dino-nii cleared them from my eyes and Reborn jumped up on my bed beside me and asked me a question. "Rae, What was your past like?" He asked gently as to not upset me further. "Well, I was kidnapped the day I was born by the Estraneo Famiglia. They then proceeded to experiment upon me and some other children. I lived in a cage with 6 others. They could see but I was blind. I knew which ones were which due to their auras and the sounds of their voices. We became an almost family and they helped to feed me as I cannot see. We lived like that for 5 years. Then about a week before yesterday they were all taken to be tested for something. After about 10 minutes had passed I heard their screams, one by one, come from the room they exprimented on us from. After some time they never came back and yesterday the boss ordered me to be injected with a mixture of sky and night flames. Because I survived they gave me a small respite from experiments and in the 4 days in my cage I learned to do this." I opened my hand with my palm facing them as my hand became lit with flames of night. I then proceeded to summon my night phoenix, Silver. "Meet Silver. She is able to show me what she sees." I said while smiling happily as she flew and sang. I saw Reborn and Dino-nii's faces for the first time. Reborn had a baby face with spiky black hair under a fedora with curly sideburns and a chameleon on his fedora which he tilted to hide his emotions. Dino-nii had a kind face and shaggy blonde hair. He wore a green army jacket with a fur lined hood. Silver turned to look at me and I saw that I was wearing a clean white dress shirt and shorts from Dino-nii it looked like. One of Dino-nii's maids probably bathed me and dressed me. My long ginger blonde hair was hanging down my back and it framed my face and big ocean blue doe eyes. You could say that I was Dino-nii's little sister. "Rae?  What do we look like to you from Silver's eyes?" Reborn asked me with a concerned tone of voice. Ithen proceeded to describe what they looked like. They sighed when they learned I could see just fine through my familiars' eyes.
