Wicked (Thomas)

Thomas' POV:

"Look at that girl." Minho said.
"Wow."

The boys were admiring her. I hadn't looked yet but I couldn't get Chuck out of my head he was like my little brother.

"Thomas?" I heard a voice ask hopefully.

I looked up and saw a girl.

"How do you know me?" I asked.

The girl looked down.

"Of course you can't remember." she sniffed.

I glanced at the others they were whispering all sorts of stuff.

"Have we met?" I asked carefully.
"Yes but you can't remember." She sobbed.
"Hey don't cry."

I stood up and hugged her. she hugged back and I felt something inside me I had a warm feeling. She stopped crying. I looked in her eyes.

"I know that your memory is in there somewhere please try to remember me." muttered the girl.
"What's your name?"
"My name is (Y/N)."

The girl gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"I beg you Thomas try to remember." she whispered.
"(Y/N), what are you doing here? You are supposed to rest." said Janson.
"Sorry sir."

I couldn't help but notice how strong her voice trembled. I looked at her and she looked back at me her eyes showed me nothing but fear. She was definitely scare of Janson.

"What's wrong with her that she needs to rest? She looks fine to me." I hissed.
"Thomas it's alright it's all going to be fine."

She stroked my cheek before being pulled away. And with that she was gone. As the door closed I saw her fall down on the ground. I looked at Newt who stood by my side.

"Come on. Sit down Thomas."

Newt made me sit back down to avoid drawing attention. We talked about who she could be I was thinking as hard as I could.

"Back to your room." dictated a guard and brought us there.

I wasn't looking where i was going and I lost the group. Great. I entered a room I thought was mine and it lead me into some kind of hallway full of cells. I heard someone sobbing. I looked inside the cell and saw the girl from earlier.

"(Y/N)?" I asked.
"Thomas? No you shouldn't be here, run they're going to hurt you."

She came to the bars. Her cheek was glowing like someone hit her.

"Who did this?" Anger took over my thoughts.
"It doesn't matter. Not as long you're safe." She hushed and took my hand.

I saw something flash before my eyes. A memory.

"I did something insane." (Y/n) said scared and freaking out.

We were hiding in an empty storage room. It was very good isolated so no one heard us. I hushed her and hugged her tight.

"What happened?"

My voice was calm and reassuring as always, I know she likes that because it calms her down.

"I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't keep watching them die." A tear slipped from her eyes.
" I know and I feel so too." I reassured her.
"No you don't understand I talked to the Right arm and they are attacking other Wicked buildings in order to free immunes out of the hands of Wicked." explained (Y/N).
"Tell no one about this. I will keep you safe. I promise. You are my best friend and the only one I truly care for except for our friends in the maze of course." I glared into her eyes and was enchanted by them.
"I'm scared Thomas."
"I know."

I decided it was a now or never case to kiss her. I connected our lips together. She hesitated a little bit before kissing back. I pulled away to catch some breath. She looked at me and smiled. I immediately started smiling back.

"I love you." I couldn't stop looking at her beautiful eyes.
"I love you too Thomas." She smiled brighter than ever before and stroke my cheek.

Of course they found out. They immediately eliminated everyone except for (y/n) or me. Teresa was in shock knowing that one of her friends is the bad guys.  (Y/n) couldn't take it and said she did it but I wouldn't let that happen.

"She's lying. I'm the one who did it. She's just trying to protect me." I said.
"Oh really?" questioned Ava Paige
"Look at her she is protective over me. She would do anything to protect me."

I did everything to protect her.

"I'm sorry Thomas but we can't let you escape with this you shall be put into the maze."

I looked at her and was shocked. 'Not the maze please!' I wanted to shout it out but I had to accept it for (y/n).

"No!!!" Shouted (Y/N).

We were separated. I looked at her and shouted her name. I was locked up while waiting for my cure. They had already beaten me up before I was put here. I heard a noise and stood up.

"Thomas?"
"(Y/N)?" I looked at her.
"Who did this?" She asked with tears and stroked my cheek.
"It doesn't matter. Not as long as you're safe." I smiled and took her hand before kissing it.

I remembered.

"Thomas?" She asked.
"It's alright I'm here now."

I smiled and kissed her. I felt her smile in the kiss as well. Our perfect moment was ruined by an alarm.

"Go."

For once I actually listened to her and left.

"Find him!" Janson shouted.

I walked to the corridor where I got lost and pretended to have fainted. A guard found me.

"Kid?" he shook my shoulder.
"wh-what happened?" I pretended to know from nothing.
"To your room."
"That'd be nice thanks."

I fooled the guard. He brought me back to the other lads.

"Thomas!" Newt hugged me.
"Hey guys I don't know what happened I followed you guys and the next thing I know there's a guard shaking my shoulder." I said.

I heard the door fall closed and being locked.

"Alright here's the deal I remember who the girl is. She's my girlfriend, she was our friend especially yours Newt She adored you as best friend until you all disappeared one by one she couldn't watch her friends being sacrificed, neither did I so she sent all the coordinates of WICKED buildings to the right arm, Wicked's opponent. Of course they found out and they blamed her but I couldn't let them hurt her so I stepped up and that's how I got into the maze." I explained.
"So now what?"

we heard a noise from under my bed. I looked and it was (y/n).

"Come on we have to get out of this place. They wanna hurt you." She said freaking out.
"What do you mean?" Asked Newt.
"Wicked! Janson wants you all dead! He's going to use you to find the cure please. I can't take it they cannot hurt you again." She was crying and looked at all of us.
"Barricade the door from the inside to spare us some time." Commanded Newt.

We used everything we could possibly find.

"Come on I know the way." (y/n) smiled.
"Wait just one thing. Where will we go?" Newt asked.
"I know a guy and he knows where the Right arm is but even so they are hiding in the mountains. But trust me on this one. We have to go now." She informed us and got back in the air shaft.

I followed first. The boys followed pretty fast because they knew dangerous things were about to happen.

"I still don't trust you." said Minho.
"Wicked took everything away from me I will never be Wicked. You guys are my friends and I'm not letting them take you away from me ever again. " clarified (y/n).
"She's wicked. We will never escape this thing alive." Winston complained.
"1) seriously? A wicked reference and 2) we will." I said, trusting her blindfolded.
"Maybe I'm a wicked girl but I will set you free from wicked." She said confident.

I smiled at her and kissed her before we started our escape. I loved her stupid ideas, she reminded me of myself.
