Dave's POV:

I was quite drunk. I will admit that but I was gaining confidence. I was going to tell my best friend (y/n) I loved her. I looked for her. She was on the dance floor. That was new. She was usually the shy one.

"Dave." She smiled.

We danced. Man I love her. I kissed her. She didn't seem to resist so I cupped her face and kept kissing her. She took my hands and we left the party. We went to my house. She was staying over anyway. My parents were out of town and she had told her parents that she'd stay with a friend. I locked the door behind me and kissed her again. She pushed me off.

"Don't." She said and laid down.
"I'm sorry." I said and laid beside her.
"Can we cuddle?" She asked.

I slided my arms around her and kissed her.

"Dave?" She asked.
"Yes?" I said.
"This is nice." She smiled.

Your POV:

I was dancing. Yes it was unusual but well my friends dragged me here. Especially Dave. He practically begged me. I looked at him stumbling close to me. I had a few drinks but it seemed like Dave was way too drunk.

"Dave?" I asked.

He mumbled something. I held him on his feet. All of the sudden he kissed me. I didn't refuse but I wasn't ready. He cupped my face.

"That's enough." I said and took his hands.

I took him home. He locked the door behind him. He kissed me again snd his hands slipped under my shirt. I had no choice but to push him off.

"Stop it Dave, you're drunk." I said snd laid down in his bed.
"Sorry." He tried get out.
"Good night." I said and closed my eyes.

His arms slipped around my waist.

"Dave?"
"Yes?"
"What are you doing?"

He fell asleep. Great. His grip tightened and I felt something in his trousers.

"Okay let's not go there."

I broke free of his grip and left his room only to see that the alarm was on and well I didn't know the code so I was stuck. I went back to Dave. He was snoring. I sat in the chair in his room. He looked so peaceful but what was I supposed to do? I really like Dave but I'm not ready for a relationship and he won't even know by the morning that he wanted to go far from the start.

--- Time Skip ---

I fell asleep in the chair. I woke up from some groaning coming from the bed. I stood up and went downstairs to get some breakfast.

Dave's POV

I remember falling asleep with (Y/N) in my arms but now I don't know. I woke up.

She wasn't there. I sighed. I got changed. I walked down in just my pants. There she was the girl of my dreams. I walked up to her and kissed her neck.

"Dave, don't do this, not again." She said pushing me off.
"What did I do?" I asked.
"I'm not ready Dave you kissed me last night and I'm not ready."
"I am terribly sorry." I said.
"I really like you but I don't want to ruin it by not being good enough." She said.
"But you are perfect the way you are. We can go slow if you are not ready for a relationship yet. Let's do this the proper way: (y/n), will you go out on a date with me?" I asked.

She smiled and nodded.

"Yes." I cheered.

She just laughed. She was perfect.
