Silence (A Tom Hiddleston Fan Fic)

Chapter 4

*Brookes POV*

As I open my eyes i'm greeted by bright lights. I sit up but i'm very disoriented. I soon remember where I am. Tom never got here and the interview is suppose to start in 20 minutes.

I take a look at all the supplies Lucy had set out. I noticed she even put some of it away. Poor Lucy. She was so excited! Damn Tom for not showing up. I sigh and just run my fingers through the bristles of Lucys' make up brushes, but the sound of the door closing makes my head shoot up.

"Okay, i'm here. Rain caught me on my way here so could you please blow dry my hair. hurry!"

What is happening? He's here, standing in front of me. I'm not able to move or even speak. I never thought i'd be this starstruck but the very fact I can't speak or move proves otherwise.

"Um, excuse me?" Tom say while positioning himself in the chair. "Could you please get started, now?"

"I-I'm not the makeup artist, m-my friend Lucy-"

"Oh god.." I hear Tom mumble while rubbing his temples. "She should've been ready. This is wasting time! Why are you even here?"

Did he really just say that? Is he really blaming Lucy? Is he kicking me out?

"Well she's been waiting for you for almost 3 hours. If anyone wasted time it's the diva sitting in front of me."

I keep my head high not regretting what i'd just said. Well maybe a little, it's just that this is not the way I expected to meet Tom. Then again, I never thought he'd be so rude.

I look at him through the mirror but he's already staring back. His blue eyes look dull and tired. His clenched jaw softens almost immediately. He tears his gaze from me and stares at his shoes. Head down, not saying a word.

Did i just hurt Tom Hiddlestons feelings. What the hell is wrong with me.

*Toms POV*

Diva. I look up at her through the mirror. I don't want to be that person who acts unacceptably spoiled and rude. In fact, I never act like that, but I surely didn't behave appropriately right now. I stare at the girl in the mirror and soon her eyes meet mine. Her light brown eyes were almost like the color of her hair. Her hair was straight and was cascading around her shoulders. However she had no expression. It's like she didn't regret those words. She sure put me in my place. I look down and sigh. I think she's about to talk but we hear the door open.

"Oh my god you're here! I better get started! You're all wet let's dry you up! Brooke, can you please wait outside?"

Brooke...

"No thanks, i'll go home now. Call me when you get out."

I look over and she's already by the door.

"Alright, bye."

She leaves the room without even acknowledging me.

The other girl who I assume is Lucy gets down to business, brushing my curly hair back and blow drying it. I'm still thinking about Brooke though. Who is she?

"Did she get it?" a voice snaps me from my thoughts.

"Get what?" I ask

"The autograph! She's been dying to meet you!" Lucy eagerly says while jumping slightly.

"Oh..no, she didn't" I say a bit upset at myself for being rude to a fan.

"I'm sure she just thought it wasn't the right time." Lucy explains. Even the smile on her face couldn't hide her confused state.

"I'm Lucy by the way." she extends her hand towards me and I immediately return the gesture.

"Tom Hiddleston."

"Well, Mr. Hiddleston, i'll be your make up and wardrobe slave for the next month." she joked with a huge grin on her face.

"Please, call me Tom."

She smiled and got back to work. Wow, a month. Maybe i'll see Brooke around again. Just to apologize for being so rude. Obviously, that's why i wanna see her again. Just to apologize.

"It's time!" a guy with a head peice runs in and out of the dressing room. I quickly change clothes in a matter of 3 seconds and i'm running towards the stage.

I wait on the side of the stage to be introduced. Everything went better than expected.

"Ladies and gentlemen.... Tom Hiddleston!"
